A good Robocop comic 23 years after the original film?  I’ll buy that for a dollar. I mean no offense…

Although I wasn’t hooked by the preview and was not familiar with any of the creative team’s previous work, I…

September 20, 2011 9:20 am A friend of mine lent me The Snyder/Jock/Francavilla Detective run and it is fantastic. I wasn't planning to pick this up, but after reading about half of the Detective issues, I knew I'd be a fool to let this slip by. Haven't seen anything of Capullo's since Spawn, but I loved his stuff back then. This ought to be great.
September 18, 2011 8:30 pm I loved that Predator piece. I recently finished up reading Petrograd, nice to see more work from him and from an unexpected source too. The figure doesn't look too much like Arnold, but I instantly recognized it.
September 18, 2011 8:28 pm Agreed. One of the best weekly features.
September 18, 2011 8:16 pm Somehow, Hickman's FF Vol. 3 (HC) is already out-of-print and I can't find it with spending $40+.
September 15, 2011 9:36 pm I picked up #1 under the advice that picking up any Vertigo #1 would be a good idea. And now I don't know if I'll miss any book more than this once it's gone.
September 15, 2011 9:32 pm Not one of Johnson's coolest-looking covers, but that "Will Punish For Ammo" cracks me up. Great issue too. Loved that Elektra was making Kingpin sweat. Seems like he's got two ruthless killers gunning for him.
September 15, 2011 9:30 pm Half my rationale for buying this book was Manco's art. He was great on Hellblazer, but it seems like he isn't sticking around on this title :( Inferno was one of the better sequels, I thought. Although Doug Bradly (Pinhead) disagreed when I mentioned it to him at FanExpo a few weeks ago.
September 15, 2011 9:24 pm The scene in this month's Scalped showing Red Crow putting his partners in place was fantastic. I was kind of cheering for him.
September 15, 2011 9:21 pm @Flan - I was thinking that too!
September 15, 2011 3:22 pm Frankenstein was a lot of fun. It didn't seem like a Lemire book, but in a great "hey, let's have some monsters fight" kind of way that I appreciated. And now I am curious about Grifter. My only experience with him is Sleeper, but your review has me intrigued.
