I was cautiously optimistic about this series after the first issue.  It was nice and I could see the spark…

This ending really punches you in the gut.  I didn’t notice that the pilot had been hit, though it is…

December 24, 2015 11:01 am My one issue with the movie was that Finn had a complete emotional arc but he got left hanging plot wise. Rey got a good ending and set up for the next film, but it seemed like there wasn't much emotional development at all. My opinions on her might change on a second viewing but that's where I'm at now. They probably felt they could do that because they had another movie coming but it makes this one feels incomplete.
November 29, 2015 8:41 pm Saga got me a couple times when I used to ride the bus.
September 6, 2015 5:50 pm What are the odds there is another Patrick K. who wrote in? I got totally faked out by that.
September 6, 2015 5:49 pm This was really great! Hopefully you'll have time/opportunity for more in the future. It was interesting to hear someone as successful as Millar talk so openly about the business side, and even more so because he is not jaded about the whole experience. He really seems to conceive of the art/craft and business as one thing as opposed to normal adversarial relationship.
July 21, 2015 12:09 pm The smaller nature of the threat was what put it over the top for me too. There was some really clunky dialogue the actors did their best with but otherwise it was prettty enjoyable.
July 14, 2015 12:01 pm It doesn't help that it appears that Zack Snyder has an active and fervent misunderstanding of the character that is the opposite of those guys. Man of Steel is like the exact opposite of All-Star Superman.
July 14, 2015 11:55 am Of course that's what happened.
April 9, 2015 11:54 pm So looking forward to this. Thanks for doing video of it. I'm back in school and even if I wasn't there was no chance I was going to be able to attend.
April 6, 2014 5:51 pm I have to agree with Josh, if I start to get a whiff of aimlessness from a book I get horrible flash backs to things like "Nikki and Paulo". Not that the creators need to know exactly where things are going to lead from the beginning, but I should at least be able to recognizable where we are on the curve of "falling vs. rising" action. On Community: I thought the episode was fine, though the fact that [SPOILERS] Jeff took some weird de-aging pills was a bit of a cop out. I"m not saying that they needed to have him attempt suicide (that would be WAY too dark). To have him simply react badly to medication is a little too saccharine when you front load an episode with so much nostalgia. ON the other hand, if there is one thing Jeff has been irrational about over the years, it is facing his own mortality [END SPOILERS].
March 23, 2014 9:32 pm There's one we haven't heard much about since Ron left.
