The story seems to be zipping along quite nicely although I get the feeling that Johns is cruising on auto…

I can’t believe how much I enjoyed this issue! Just to make it clear, I started picking up Amazing Spider-Man…

September 27, 2011 10:19 am Never really been a fan of Bagley's art, which is one of the main reasons I never really got into USM while he was the artist. And that cover is one of the ugliest things I've seen for a long time. Weak drawing and bad design - how did this ever get through! Still, I'll give it a shot since Bendis is normally pretty reliable especially on creator owned material.
July 26, 2011 11:49 am They forgot "Unnecessary," "Un-amusing," and "Uninspired."

Really, Frank Millar (a reasonably intelligent man, far as I can remember, though god knows there hasn't been much evidence of it in the last decase or more) has turned a knee-jerk, immature reaction he had 10 years ago into an infantile story that is just a bit of an embrassment for all the fans Frank Miller used to have. No wonder DC washed their hands of this mess: This is the comic equivalent of all the idiots that went round attacking and killing anyone they thought looked like a Muslim after 9/11 or the sort of thing even Chuck Norris would have scraped off his shoe in the 80s! No amount of money will buy back your artistic integrety, Miller!
July 21, 2011 9:19 pm The original Wrightson Frankenstein was absolutely amazing! This looks just as good! Wrightson has still got it in spades. Let's appreciate the great masters while we can.
July 19, 2011 6:22 am So looking forward to this issue too! Props are due to Jonathan Ross. He's ben a massive comics fan and collector for years and recently took a break from his "day job" as a television host (on the level of Letterman in the UK) to live his dream and... just write comics. Good for him. He may not be a great writer yet, but he is spending the time to learn and improve his skill. Living the geek dream! :)

July 15, 2011 12:04 pm He was the first person to ever charge me for a sketch. This was in 1988 at UKCAC comic con in London when he had only just started on Punisher. Paying for sketches was unheard of at that time in the UK. I knew he was a businessman way back then! :)
May 9, 2011 8:34 pm What? The title is still going??? And the art is by ason Pearson AND Sara Pichelli??? BUT it's written by Daniel Way???

What a crazy mixed up world we live in.... might still check it for the art though :)
April 27, 2011 9:06 pm These covers are amazing... and pretty damn scary all at once!
March 21, 2011 9:33 pm Damn! I'm there!
March 14, 2011 10:17 pm Varient cover by Brendan Mccarthy too???? Holy S***! Take my money!!!
February 22, 2011 7:38 am Nice. I can skip most of the X-Men related comics for the next month or so. Zeb Wells and Leonard Kirk were doing some amazing work before this crossover. I'll wait till it's done to jump back on. Money in my pocket.
