January 18, 2012 5:55 am New Mutants are my all-time favourite marvel team, and I love other work by Abnett and Lanning, but this is by far the worst book I pick up each month.
December 13, 2011 1:33 am The reason we buy the books is because we actually give a shit about continuity, Marvel should definitely NOT just dump the continuity, intrigue and character dramas in favour of lame monster of the week stories that will have no bearing or importance ten years from now.
November 29, 2011 3:41 am Me. What kind of comic fan complains about seriousness and continuity? Craziness.
November 15, 2011 1:47 am I just wish that DnA would actually take the time to read the Claremont NM run because it's evident that they are entirely clueless about who these characters are and the way they are supposed to be.
October 31, 2011 6:38 pm I usually love Abnett and Lanning, but this has been godawful, it's as if they have never picked up a single issue of New Mutants in their entire life and know absolutely nothing about these characters or the ways that these characters interact with eachother, the only character they get even slightly right is Magik, and she's gonna be exported to Uncanny.
October 24, 2011 5:55 pm Finished it about three days ago, it's not like I'm a super-gamer though, I just got the game early because I live in Australia. Anyway, THIS GAME IS FUCKING INCREDIBLE.
October 24, 2011 5:42 pm Reading this series gives me the impression that as great as Abnett and Lanning are, they've never read an issue of New Mutants in their entire life and the only character that they have even a glimmer of an understanding of is Magik.
October 17, 2011 6:36 pm I'm loving this mini so much, this is pretty much the story that I've wanted to hear ever since The Boys started
    September 28, 2011 7:31 pm It's a Western thematically, not geographically.
September 14, 2011 12:29 pm The problem with this analogy is that American comics tend to be the best in the world and American beers tend to be some of the most flavourless.
