Given how recently we were introduced to the last Supergirl, I waver on whether a full re-telling of her origin…

Ok, I loved about 90% of this book. No doubt about it, it was a lot of fun. I’ve got…

February 27, 2013 8:27 am @roboadmiral So minor nitpick but Tim didn't actually browbeat Bruce to try to become Robin.....he was browbeating Dick Grayson to go back and be Bruce's partner again, then Bruce and Dick turned the tabled on Tim and offered him the chance to wear take on the mantle. But all that being said, it would still suck to see it go down as you described.
February 8, 2013 3:13 pm I think thats why I asked, because those seven feel so irreplaceable to me... I got to realizing that if Professor X could be replaced that way ( I feel really ambivalent because Beast feels like both the necessary choice, and not nearly enough), then who else could fill in..and I couldn't think of any myself. These guys are the master strategists, scientists and influential rulers. Strange could, in theory, be replaced by the next Sorceror Supreme but I think I"d feel the same way as I do about Beast. But rather then it being a negative, I find it adds an interesting dynamic to the story...like we might be seeing the flaw appearing in a gem so to speak.
February 8, 2013 7:51 am Damn, at least three major turning points in this book that I can see having major ramifications across nearly the entire Marvel lineup. This was definitely my Pick of the Week as well... and after seeing who replaces Professor X in this lineup (as well as the events on the last couple pages), I started wondering. If these characters for various reasons were killed off or otherwise taken off the board, who else could fill in for them? I'm a bit of an Illuminati newcomer having only really started here with New Avengers #1, but I'd love to hear who else readers think could take their places if certain members of the New Avengers were incapacitated.
January 25, 2013 3:50 pm This book was a lot of fun....This title was on my chopping block because I thought the humor had tipped a little too far over the top, but this issue along with the new art, scaled it back just enough to still be hilarious while still being grounded.
January 25, 2013 3:37 pm I believe both Katana and Vibe have ongoing titles as well as the team title kicking off in February although I could be mistaken and they might just be minis.
January 19, 2013 5:34 pm Good call, so this guy might be Dr Midnight after the next 5 year jump!
January 19, 2013 5:27 pm You guys were one of the first podcasts I got into listening to on a regular basis come around 2006-2007 and I've basically been a steady listener ever since. I'll miss Ron's presence and banter with Josh and Connor. My favorite episodes (outside of the times when we've been brought the likes of Middle Management Red Skull and Post Coital Thor) were the videos that showed a bit more their lives beyond the comics, in particular the summer barbecues. It really showed at the core, that these three are best friends. I have no doubt of Paul's ability to step into Ron's shoes on iFanboy however and I'm confident that the show remains in good hands. I'll second someone's earlier motion to make Paul the "My Little Pony" guy, though!
January 19, 2013 4:43 pm I noticed a reference to Dr. Cross being the one to extract Atom and Bumblebee at the beginning....Pietr Cross' Dr Midnite? He looked to be a little young for Dr Midnite when they showed him but still cool if it was!
December 22, 2012 3:42 pm Oddly enough, this "Blue and Black" pairing, really has me wanting to see Blue Beetle and Booster Gold teaming up with these two.....not on a permanent basis, but just for a story arc.
December 9, 2012 7:11 am While I agree this has been the weakest of the first five issues, there were still enough cool moments to warrant getting four stars... I'll take a weak Hawkeye issue like this over a lot of other mediocre series' high points.
