November 23, 2012 5:31 pm I'm not even American, and I give thanks for IFANBOY - making the whole comic reading experience a fun, joint activity again. Job Well done folks

October 10, 2012 5:44 pm Really nice to see such positivity Ron, - Hope we all keep enjoying it .
October 5, 2012 6:02 pm The absolute JOY i felt when i completed my "crisis on infinite earths" run around 1989 at a market stall in Swansea will stay with me forever. The delivery of Newell's Catwoman #1 from in 2004 felt somewhat tawdry in comparison.
October 3, 2012 6:35 pm Hold on there Tiger: What about that post crisis event that prompted Superman to leave Earth and go into space. You know, where he killed the three Krptonian villains. Was that set in the phantom zone, or was it a different pocket uninverse? OH... Hold on A sec,.. I just realised that I slipped into the Nerd zone myself.... Trapped forever....Nooooooooooo! Curse you Reid! I will have my revengeeeeeeeeeeeeee....
September 22, 2012 10:48 am I understand. I hate 3 d Normally. But it's MEANT to be dark, it feels dark, it makes you feel grimy while you watch it., and the 3d is used in the same way that bullet time was when Matrix first came out - As an important vehicle for telling the story , not just an add on .
September 22, 2012 10:46 am Go see it . NOW. IN 3d - At the Cinema - It is relentless and needs the big screen like no other film. Gruddam it !
September 21, 2012 1:04 pm I am an old man. I've been with dredd from the late 70's. he's been many different things, but this movie is a fantastic interpretation if some if those facets. There is humour, though dark and understated. There is sci-fi , but done with innovation due to small budgets. There is hard line , bloody insane violent action- and that us also dredd. What makes it work more than anything is that it is relentless, just like our favourite judge. It is also fantastically visual, and a must-see in cinema 3d to get the real comic book feel. Go watch. Just not with little kids !
August 15, 2012 5:50 pm Why am I not reading this yet ? Oh yeah- financial penury. I gotta get me some of that saga.
