May 19, 2013 9:10 pm This was okay. I'm underwhelmed more often than I am pleased by this book, but Jason Aaron is such a strong writer that I think it's kept me from dropping this before. I will strongly reconsider before grabbing this next time. The art is a stronger pull for me than anything right now.
May 19, 2013 9:07 pm This was high quality. I should just summarily buy anything Corben draws.
May 19, 2013 9:05 pm The only DC title I'm still reading is Wonder Woman. If that gets screwed up, I'm off of DC for the foreseeable future. At least until Grant Morrison's Wonder Woman project and his Multiversity crop up. But those aren't ongoing titles.
April 22, 2013 10:15 pm I will tuck this one away until next fall when it comes out. When it does, I am there. Waid and Haspiel: Two great tastes that taste great together.
April 19, 2013 10:36 pm I just recently bought an iPad just before going on a trip overseas. Before I left, I loaded all of my unread Marvel books with the free downloads into the device for the long flights and to read while going to sleep. I really enjoyed reading them in that way. The art really pops out when it's back-lit, and I tend to read them faster somehow. But I still wouldn't want to buy them online. I feel more like I'm getting my money's worth by buying the physical book and having the digital as a back-up.
April 17, 2013 11:50 pm Love this review, even if I haven't read the comic yet. This and Nightwing were my only DC picks this week. Great to know DC still has some good stuff coming out.
March 24, 2013 10:36 pm This is indeed incredible news. I love what DC does with its digital-first stuff so much more than I do the regular DCU material.
January 26, 2013 9:48 pm Aaron Kuder's art is incredible.
January 11, 2013 8:53 am Breyfogle! Easily. Loved his Batmobile, the way he drew Batman, and I always looked forward to seeing villains drawn in a Norm Breyfogle-drawn book for the first time, just to see what they would look like. His work had beautiful shapes--especially the things he could do with Batman's cape.
January 7, 2013 11:23 pm If this was a title about female X-Men, I get the feeling they would have moved Greg Land onto it, don't you think? Instead of putting Oliver Coipel?
