November 6, 2012 10:08 am I gotta go with Saga. I know Snider/Capullo are knocking Batman out of the park but Saga just leaves me wanting more at the end of every issue.
September 23, 2012 8:29 pm I don't think the price should be a factor if you are picking up any independent book. Almost all Marvel's books are $3.99 and nobody seems to have a problem picking them up. I think all independent books should be $3.99 in today's marketplace in order to allow them a chance to survive. How many great Image books have been cancelled because of sales, but they still have a $2.99 cover price? Can't help but think if they cost a $1 more would it have bought them more issues in the market?
September 11, 2012 3:54 pm Last issue was kind of a throwaway for me. Hoping this one sees the book get back on track.
September 11, 2012 3:54 pm I'm excited to see Ninjak re-emerge in the Valiant universe. Agree with everyone here all the Valiant books have been top notch! Why no love from iFanboy? One of the Valiant books should have been pick of the week by now. Shame on you iFanboy! Cory Nord was at FanExpo this year and said he will return after this story arc and is already penciling issue #9. They are having two artists on the book to alternate between story arcs.
September 11, 2012 3:50 pm I'm totally with you on how great this book has been. Excited to see where the next few issues go. This book has been top botch all around.
September 6, 2012 10:01 pm Different kind of pace and tone from Nick Spencer but I really enjoyed this issue
August 23, 2012 9:42 am Walking Dead got me reading comics again after a ten year absence, but Scalped is the series that got me back into comic shops on a regular basis as I needed every issue as soon as soon it came out.
August 23, 2012 9:41 am This absolutely needed to be Pick of the Week. If it wasn't Pick of the Week I would have lost all faith in iFanboy. No other series on shelves has been as consistently month after month as good as Scalped. Every issue you leave with your jaw on the floor and I'm going to be sad to see it go. Now DC/Vertigo need to do this series justice and give us premium hardcover editions.
August 22, 2012 10:48 am When the trade comes out for Saga is it going to get pick of the week as well?
August 20, 2012 9:31 pm I agree that more people need to be reading this book because the creative team is knockung this out of the park every month! This should have been pick of the week
