March 31, 2009 7:49 am I decided not to buy this issue when I realised my fav thing about issue 1&2 were the Jim Chung covers. Which were only 1/2 page!
One of the first DC comics I ever bought was Flash #1 by Mike Baron. Wally West has always been my Flash. Who is this "Barry Allen" imposter? Plus Geoff Johns is a nice fellow but not a good writer.
Love New Avengers but not that fussed with the Dr Strange angle. I am, however, sure Bendis will make it intresting.
"how can the Avengers trust Spider-Man if he won't take his mask off?" Exactly! this is one of the reasons why Spider-man post-OMD has been totally wrong. Maybe Bendis can fix the whole Mehispto-mess! (I ain't holding my breath though)
Bye bye Ultimate X-Men! You should have left a long time ago. In your early days you were brill and even produced the best issue of any X-man comic ever (the one where Wolverine has to kill the kid who wakes up one morning and everything a radius of 20meters of him dies. The page where he wanders downstairs calling for hin mum and just finds a pile of dust which he just ignores is chilling) but you leave the comic book world tired, old and well past your prime.
