May 10, 2013 2:02 pm I'm thinking the same, was buying the hardcovers until I caught up with the monthlies, but now I'm thinking I might switch back. I keep hoping this and Invincible turn around, it was only a year/ eighteen months ago that they were amongst the best things I was reading.
May 4, 2013 8:26 am I picked up the Walking Dead and the Buck Rogers reprint (looks lovely). If anyone is interested, my publishing company is doing free downloads on a couple of our books. http://www.comicsy.co.uk/averyhillpublishing/store/products/category/digital-downloads/
April 17, 2013 6:11 pm Agreed, I think this is more to the point! Although that could be why there are so many other interesting nominations up there that we (well I) haven't heard of. He probably had to do some far and wide reading, more so than most of us here need to, in order to find some real hidden gems not done by people on that list.
April 17, 2013 6:00 pm All those saying he judged books without reading them, he quite specifically says he read the stuff that was submitted once he became a judge. There have been people here who were very anti Before Watchmen but changed their minds when they read some of the actual books. There's one thing taking a stance when writing an article and quite another when you're required to set your biases aside and be objective, some people can handle that.
March 29, 2013 12:16 pm I totally agree. This is a boring cover and not at all worth an article.
February 28, 2013 6:37 pm This article lead to me no longer following ifanboy on Twitter due to the way this article was described in their feed and the fact it gave away the Batman Inc ending to me. Now I've read the issue and dared to look on the site again this article seems to not have the same spoilers in the header so I'm fine with it. Was very annoyed with the twitter version.
February 7, 2013 5:23 pm What I mean is whether or not it is proper big budget full theatrical release Disney or not. I personally doubt that they'd do that for Fettt for instance. I could be wrong though.
February 6, 2013 2:37 pm I don't remember the shot you mention, I'm thinking because he's a very good actor and he has the swagger and cocky charm to play it. It depends how big the movie is as to whether he'd do it I guess.
February 6, 2013 2:32 pm Joseph Gordon-Levitt for young Han Solo! Although I doubt he'd do it.
January 24, 2013 6:57 pm The issue is that some people don't like women being treated as sexual objects whereas some other people don't care/ see it as sexy and/or "empowering".
