Name: Jared Blumberg

Bio: I read comics, sell comics, write comics, draw comics, and review comics. I gravitate toward original work, particularly books that frequently get slapped with labels like 'mature readers' and 'indie', but I enjoy the full spectrum of genres when done well. I'm big on getting the average person into reading comics, and showing them that there's much more to our medium than super heroes. You can check out my ramblings at oneofthemreaders.wordpress.com.

April 16, 2012 1:41 pm No info listed on this? For shame. I loved the first issue. Hickman's Image stuff is always superb.
April 16, 2012 1:39 pm I'm sticking with this for a few more issues. I think it might really go to some interesting places once it's set up and the readers get used to the jazzy flow of the narrative.
April 9, 2012 6:44 pm Oddly enough also what the characters in the drawing are saying.
April 9, 2012 5:19 pm It's the late night, double feature, picture show.
April 9, 2012 4:54 pm The first issue lived up to the hype. I'm eagerly awaiting this. And, you know....robot sex.
April 9, 2012 1:35 pm Maybe when these get cancelled they'll give Liefeld six new books, and it will just keep growing from there until the 52 is nothing but gritted teeth, poor anatomy, and gigantic laser guns. I sure hope thirteen year old boys have lots of leftover allowance to blow. Also, that Lobo looks goofy.
April 2, 2012 3:13 pm Yeah, kind of an odd title. I want to draw this elusive 'beautiful' as well!
April 2, 2012 3:10 pm It will be difficult to adjust to a Fables spinoff that doesn't have a page devoted to Babe the Blue Ox, but I think I can manage.
