I’ve liked this series from issue #1, but with a complicated story focusing on each individual scientist in the MP…

February 2, 2012 5:28 pm I personally like finding out that a store is complete crap. We have around 10 different LCS' in the same relatively small metro area, and the fact that there are multiple stores with dog stains on the carpet, trash on the shelves, or no heating or cooling happening in the store whatsoever allows me to write them off completely. One store actually made a huge change by converting from a toys and comics Hoarder's storage space to what resembles an actual place of business. This change alone caused me to drop my long-time favorite and start a new pull box at the new one. Cleanliness is next to godliness, right?
February 2, 2012 5:22 pm That's the first thing I noticed too. He's so strong he can hold himself up on absolutely nothing! The parachute is actually not taking any of the load off of his fall whatsoever. Now THAT is a strong human (since he has no powers).
February 2, 2012 5:19 pm The hard part isn't getting your other into this hobby. It's a tie between accepting that she never will and fighting to retain time and money to continue it yourself!
February 2, 2012 5:16 pm Great, nothing makes a book improve in widespread interest or general sales more than the f'ing Power Pack. Not to mention that their appearance totally screws up continuity. Julie is in her 20's now, and the rest of her siblings are still Franklin and Valeria's age! How do one or two siblings age normally while the rest stay the same? It's almost as bad as Franklin being 7 longer than some of the newer X-Men have been alive!
February 2, 2012 5:09 pm Weird, I just assumed is was Omni Man running for office. Would he really have to run? Anyway, there are too many mustached leads these days. It might even be Reed Gunther.. What if it's revealed that they're all the same guy at different points in their lives?!?!?!?
October 11, 2011 2:25 pm My wife is not a comic fan, but loves Halloween, and loves the comic movies. So when she asked me if we could go to San Diego for our annual vacation so that she could dress up as a person with powers and walk around with other people doing the same, I was amazed and excited. There are fans of the characters who wouldn't participate or contribute in the comics conventions if dressing up was no longer acceptable, and that should be kept in mind. Are we of the thought that the more truly is merrier, or do we believe that having the smallest grouping of fans possible makes for the best shows? To Josh, I must bring up the interesting point that while you feel supportive of the extremes of cosplay, you still advise other fans (in recent video and audio podcasts) not to wear the t-shirts of the comic characters they love to the conventions. This seems pretty contradictory, and understandable at the same time. I just wanted to bring it up to make you re-think your stance on acceptable nerd wear. I totally get not wearing a Spidey tee on camera, since the majority of TV and movie characters don't wear things with designs or logos either. There's just something asthetically pleasing about plain clothes on people on TV. But at the same time, it makes me a little sad to think that you guys wouldn't wear a spidey tee to the grocery store, or working around the house on the weekends.
October 11, 2011 2:09 pm The Animal Man cover would have 1000x better had they left all the text out at the bottom. Between the barcode and the arc title, the art is almost ruined.
September 12, 2011 2:44 pm Wow, is it a weekly series now or what? I love you, Remender!
September 8, 2011 3:26 am That cover, AND Phil Noto, AND the Uni-Power? I'm ALL IN!
September 8, 2011 3:15 am The advance review was right. Some great splash page art though. (Though not worth $5).
