August 25, 2011 10:50 pm I liked it fine. Despite having a fairly different origin story than any other TMNT series, there were lots of callbacks to previous incarnations of the turtles. April in a yellow shirt got a chuckle from me. Some lines seemed kinda awkward but overall the writing got the job done. I liked the art a bit better and I feel it really suits the TMNT. The dark inks and colors set the tone very well. I'll give the first arc a try and go from there.
