April 18, 2012 11:54 am I was fine with the word boxes (although "The most expensive punch in history" was really bad) but nothing else really worked for me; art or story. It could certainly pick back up but this issue didn't live up to the promise of issue 1.

A few questions for the more experienced/knowledgable readers: How similar is this to the idea following the original Crisis?  As someone who just recently got into comics and only read Crisis within the past couple years I don't really have a frame of reference, but this sounds similar to what must have happened back then with origins being tweaked and stories being restarted?  Is it similar or am I completely off base?

Also, what was the reaction like to the rebooting back then?  I'd imagine it wasn't quite as visceral since there was no internet and immediate feedback but there must have been a fair amount of unhappiness.  How long did it take until people accepted the new status quo?

Was I the only one with a Fallen Sun flashback in the text piece where Banner talked about how the Sentry and Rick Jones were the only people who could keep him calm?  Or maybe it's already been established and I just had no idea so my mind skipped to a familiar reference point.

Book was fun.  I wasn't pulled in enough to stick around (mostly a cost thing), but it was my favorite of the three main Avengers books.

X-Men and WWF Wrestlefest are pretty much 1 and 1a on my best arcade games of all time list.  Anytime you had a full group for either of those it was just good times all around.

I was actually thinking about Spiderman on the train today.  I would have sworn that Captain America was in it though, so clearly my memories aren't as strong as I thought they were.  I do remember the zoom out and Black Cat yelling her name.  Also her really strange swinging kick.

Also, first time I ever played Punisher was during a family trip to Disneyworld.  I don't remember if it was actually at the hotel or somewhere that we had gone to, but I remember it was awesome.

@Zattaric: I joined late but agree completely.  I liked most of the stuff I read but this is just rough.  Honestly, I'm not expecting much but it seems kind of silly to just skip the last issue going into 600.

And who doesn't love ramifications that can change Wonder Woman's life forever?

May 24, 2010 9:53 pm Same as Slockhart.  I never read an issue of JLI (or a non-Blackest Night Booster Gold either) but picked this up on a whim and really enjoyed it.
May 15, 2010 12:09 pm It's almost like I can't help but pick this.  Just such a good read (and I just picked up the Oracle vs. Calculator Birds of Prey issue in a ten cent bin at C2E2 so I feel like I have half a clue what's going on).
