February 8, 2013 12:10 pm Was looking forward to this issue coming out and using it as a jumping on spot. The small bits I've seen of Green Arrow from cross-overs and of course, the Arrow series, has made me want to read about this guy more.
January 16, 2013 6:18 pm Glad with the results. TAS is great and it's the Batman i think of when thinking of an art version.
January 12, 2013 10:25 am I enjoyed seeing Swamp Thing back in action and Snyder did a good job but I think the art was better than the story, Paquette was nailing it everytime. But there are 2 different kind of Swamp Thing's in my mind, the bright, colourful, nature filled one and then the dark, horrifying one. From the cover, it's good to see the second. I'll give it a few issues and see if it grabs me, which I sincerely hope it does. There is no reason to believe this new team can't do it.
January 9, 2013 7:32 pm Think I'll pick this book up from Lemire's first issue. I've started to like GA more and more, mainly from his appearances in things like Blackest Night. I wanted to learn more about him so I'll give this a shot.
December 25, 2012 2:07 pm Haha these are great. And it works so well because the Justice League have such a wide range of characters that you can mix serious people aka Batman, with the more fun loving guys like The Flash. Keep them coming :D
December 12, 2012 11:31 am I've really enjoyed Snyder's run on Swamp Thing but if I'm honest, I didn't pick it up because of the writer, I picked it up because of the legend that Swamp Thing has through Alan Moore. However, I definately kept buying it because the writing was good. So I'll give the new writer an issue or two and see if I'll drop it.
November 25, 2012 4:18 pm Enjoyed reading that article because recently I did a quick catch up on some of the titles I had missed for a month or two, although it only came to approx £45. I also don't indulge in too much other hobbies, I enjoy the odd Warhammer 40K game but rarely buy new models. The hobby of choice is definately reading comics. Price for me, isn't anything major. I don't want it to sound like I'm made of money but I 100% agree on your statement that you read a particle title for the characters in it. And I will buy the titles I enjoy, sometime picking up an extra "try-out" because I might have heard good reviews.
November 5, 2012 6:32 pm I'm also really looking forward to seeing what the new creative team can come up with. As a few people have already mentioned, it can't be any worse than some of the recent things Lucas did. I hope they don't do a clean re-make if I'm completely honest, spin offs and things like that would be more appealing.
October 14, 2012 4:14 pm Aquaman has been great and Ivan Reis is one of my favourite artists, sad to see him leave on this project. I'll keep it on my pull list until such time that it isn't interesting.
October 8, 2012 10:47 am Bradley Cooper seems like a great choice for Flash and I agree with the keeping Hal Jordan out of this piece, for now. I'm not sure what I think on the Batman subject on this. Maybe Warner Bros will go the way The Avengers did, leaving out Spiderman, in our case, Batman. He has a big draw to his own films and I think the first JL movie shouldn't include him until nearer the end, but write into the story that he got offered to join and he declined. Which leads into the second film where he does become a member.
