September 1, 2013 6:23 pm I came into comics in 2006 and quickly devoured any comics related material on the web, desperately playing catch up on a world I had admired from afar since childhood. Of all the dozens of comics podcasts I listened to, yours is the only one that remains. It will continue that way until you guys decide otherwise, which hopefully is a long ways away. Thanks for helping me evolve as a reader. Thanks for helping me fall in love with the medium. Thanks for the content. Thanks for everything. Thank you. Can't wait for the next episode!
August 30, 2013 2:14 pm The exchange of looks between Forever and Joacquim in Lazarus #3 were my favorite panels from this past week. The amount of body language Michael Lark is able to communicate, particularly in this issue, seems effortless. And I love the that file name for that Gorilla Grodd panel is titled "Banana futures". Nice one, Paul.
August 29, 2013 10:48 am Lazarus Saga The Private Eye Chew Aquaman Yes, Aquaman. It's been consistently entertaining for me. I think it's safe to say the iFanboy community loves Saga.
August 26, 2013 8:06 pm Adventures of Superman 4 Aquaman 23 Superman/Batman 3 Lazarus 3 BQ: Battlestar Galactica meets Star Trek mostly to see the interactions between the crews of the Enterprise and the Galactica. Adama and Kirk in the same room? Don't tell me that isn't damn good television! Plus, it would be cool to see the Galactica and the Enterprise taking on a Cylon Basestar.
August 23, 2013 11:22 pm Who's the dude just below The Demon?
August 23, 2013 8:38 pm Haha! Damn you again auto-correct!
August 23, 2013 11:24 am Having given it a night to sleep on it, Affleck as German had grown on me. Problem is I still have zero enthusiasm for a Man of Steel sequel given what's come before and the direction they are taking the characters for the movie.
August 15, 2013 3:54 pm He has his own show on the network called John Oliver's New York Stand Up Show which is, as you may have guessed, a showcase for various comedians.
August 15, 2013 12:15 pm Devil Dinosaur podcast? Do it. Do it now!
August 11, 2013 7:32 pm I echo the library as a source of reading comics on a budget, so long as you're willing to trade wait. Libraries don't get recommended enough as a way to save money. I mean... it's free! Can't get cheaper than that. ArsNotoria, suggestion of Half Price Books is good too. I recently picked up the final volume of the Starman Omnibus there which I've resisted buying until now because of the price.
