February 14, 2012 7:11 am The most accurate comparison for the Disir is "Valkyrie Nazgul". KG

October 7, 2011 4:04 pm I'd be genuinely surprised if McKelvie or I go without dropping any hip-hop. KG
September 13, 2011 10:21 am Not wanting to give away spoilers, no, the book keeps Loki as its lead for the foreseeable future. The issue basically does a lot to both set up a variety of future threats* and the larger infrastructure it all happens within. Er... that doesn't make it sound exciting, I know, but stripping all the spoilers out of it can leave it sounding dry. KG *With a quick count off the top of my head, 4 stories I'm doing are introduced herein.
September 12, 2011 6:10 pm Just as a "In Passing" thing... i) While this doesn't actually star Loki, it impacts his story pretty heavily. ii) It also sets up the next two years of JIM stories. It's not an extraneous fill-in. KG

TheNextChampion: I'm told that nowhere in NY got their shipments. Or at least that's what someone in NY on twitter said. Are you there?

Oh - while I'm here, Loki's Comics Alliances' Round Table Review this week which made me laugh a lot. And is very complimentary too. And spoilery.

(From the top of my head)

    A glossary
    The original character descriptions/concepts
    The original character sketeches
    A load of photo-reference
The actual club playlist for the series
    A Script-to-finished art thing (Page of script/pencils/inks/flats/colours)
Assorted other process stuff (Jamie's 3D Models, his wall of madness, all the booze I drank while writing it)
Some assorted other bits of art (The Phonogram Zine cover, The two individual portraits which made up issue 3)
    The Advert
    A Covers Gallery

(Basically, nothing that was in the single issues, except the advert and the covers. We wanted to keep each separate. We also know that there's a good chunk of PG readers who buy both, so we wanted to reward them.)

As others have said, each series stands alone. My standard advice is if you're to buy one, buy the second. It's something we're immensely proud of.

Oh - and in case  you haven't seen it, here's Fraction ranting about Phonogram. He's a sweetie, that one.
