April 26, 2011 3:30 pm had to pledge. canete is a favorite of mine and i am happy to see a new sketch of him every week in "weekly sketch up". at first i wanted to pledge rather cheaply, then i considered getting a sketch from him. now i gotta keep my money together. :)

NPH and cooper would be great for flash and i'm pretty sure they might have great chemistry with reynolds as hal.
and as you said - there is some role for hamm, i just can't seem to put my finger on it.

as a german i can attest to the display of swastikas or for example the twin lightning symbol of the SS being prohibited by law. same goes for a couple of other symbols. 

still, it's not like they are forbidden under any circumstance. of course you'll find then in history books, documentaries and even movies(indiana jones and the likes). so it's allowed to show them in a proper historical context, but not for personal use or enjoyment. captain america reborn issue 2 never came out here because of swastikas on the cover. so i got issue one and that's it.

 also, KISS had to use another font for their name in germany because of the double SS resembling the lightning rune. 

so yeah, we take the whole third reich issue very seriously, even today. kinda good though, so the neo-fascist political parties(a tiny minority nowadays) can't abuse these symbols for their stupid parades and what have you.

i think, the wednesday slot should be better for Human Target. for me it definitely is, since wednesday is a pretty quiet tv night.

still it's kinda annoying to hear that i gotta wait another 1 1/2 months for human target to return on air. love that show.

September 14, 2010 5:08 pm the dark empire trilogy was freaking awesome. loved the art and the way the thrawn story was continued. it had so much more mythology and atmosphere to it then some certain prequel movies that sucked balls.

holy shit, this looks sweet. that man is an artistic idol of mine, that's for sure. one day i gotta get a piece of his. him and canete are the two visually most interesting artists in comics today. well, and darwyn, because he just rocks.

but what's with the crowbars lately? wasn't there enough "death in the family" allusions recently?

batman looks too much like the movie version. the cowl obviously has been taken from them.

and yeah, the inks took a lot of the depth away.
