July 14, 2011 11:52 pm I thought the art was like a cross between Chris Burnham and a toned-down Geoff Darrow. There was a whole lot of scientific explanation, with a little bit of story mixed in. I thought the characters lacked, well, character. But on a purely scientific level, I thought it was pretty interesting.
July 14, 2011 11:48 pm I'm not a big X-Men fan, but this was pretty enjoyable. I figured Jason Aaron would do a great job writing an X-book that I would enjoy. I am already predilected toward Wolverine because I don't think Cyclops is an interesting character. Luckily Aaron will be writing Wolverine's book, because that's the one I will follow after Schism is over.

June 9, 2011 1:05 am I think Superboy looks pretty cool, actually (although admittedly dated-waiting-to-happen). But what is with the S-shield being TAPED TO HIS BACK?! That makes NO sense.
May 22, 2011 4:16 pm I loved this comic. Art and writing both were incredible, IMO. I really enjoy the way Winick writes villains--like human beings who can actually be kind of funny. He brings some Marvel into the DCU that way.
May 10, 2011 11:44 pm Oh don't worry--I won't miss this! Burnham's art is an instant-sell to me after only one issue. That can't be said of very many artists on anything. Of course, Morrison doesn't hurt either...
A couple summers ago I read a lot of Exterminators and Jack of Fables on the beach in Ft. Lauderdale. Good times.
