August 3, 2011 10:20 am I think Laurence Fishburne as Perry White is a fantastic choice. Snyder may be iffy as a director, but he's certainly building a solid cast. And if the movie is still in the casting phase we could still see a Lex, right?
June 22, 2011 12:38 pm Oh wow. You guys have got me very, very excited for SDCC this year. I'm not going since I live in Australia but I always listen to DC's podcast recordings of their panels because no write up really compares to hearing it for yourself. But I still expect to see some awesome reports from you guys in July.

I'm very much looking forward to the reboot/relaunch. September can't come soon enough.

May 6, 2011 9:07 am I've seen it twice now. First by myself. Second with the girlfriend. She had quite a nice time during the scenes where Hemsworth was sans shirt.

I enjoyed Thor. I'll buy the Blu-Ray. I think it's a great, fun movie. But I don't think it's a 10/10. It's no Lord of the Rings, and I kinda wish it was because Thor has all the right stuff to be a Lord of the Rings style epic.

I kinda wish there were Loki/Thor scenes because I don't think that relationship was properly developed in the movie. Loki utters a fantastic line in the movie but I felt as if there was no context to it. I was sort of filling in the gaps I saw based on my own comic knowledge.

Other than that, it is a really good, really fun movie. The casting was absolutely spot on. Hemsworth and Hiddleston especially.
April 18, 2011 12:05 pm @RoiVampire I haven't been reading any articles about this Death of Spider-Man arc. USM is a book I enjoy sort of not knowing anything about it. For all I knew Peter was actually going to die and USM would be finishing with #160. And I kinda wanted to keep any revelation a surprise. Little disappointing, but not much I can do now.
April 18, 2011 11:38 am Marvel says the point of the polybag is not to spoil anyone in the store.
Yet they submit press releases a week earlier or in this a month or so, pretty much telling us what's going to happen.

    That's frustrating business practice.
April 12, 2011 12:48 pm I've seen tons of people comment on how they want Shannon to keep his strange accent for Zod. I don't hear anything strange about it. It might be because I'm Australian but he's saying 'Superman' just fine to me. :

    Great chat, though.
December 21, 2010 10:00 pm I certainly like the idea of a crossover. It has the potential to be heaps of fun. Just leave it out of continuity.
December 20, 2010 12:13 pm Lemire should draw a special issue of American Vampire. That would be awesome.

Wow. They've been doing lots of different stuff with David Finch's art. On some covers he's looking painterly-esque and on others he's looking like he did at Marvel. But here he looks similar in style to Jock. I think I like this Finch the best.

I really like Morrison's concept. I just wonder if I'm going to have the money for all these Batman books later this year. I'm so used to just having one.
