I'm very much looking forward to the reboot/relaunch. September can't come soon enough.
I enjoyed Thor. I'll buy the Blu-Ray. I think it's a great, fun movie. But I don't think it's a 10/10. It's no Lord of the Rings, and I kinda wish it was because Thor has all the right stuff to be a Lord of the Rings style epic.
I kinda wish there were Loki/Thor scenes because I don't think that relationship was properly developed in the movie. Loki utters a fantastic line in the movie but I felt as if there was no context to it. I was sort of filling in the gaps I saw based on my own comic knowledge.
Other than that, it is a really good, really fun movie. The casting was absolutely spot on. Hemsworth and Hiddleston especially.
Yet they submit press releases a week earlier or in this a month or so, pretty much telling us what's going to happen.
That's frustrating business practice.
Great chat, though.
Wow. They've been doing lots of different stuff with David Finch's art. On some covers he's looking painterly-esque and on others he's looking like he did at Marvel. But here he looks similar in style to Jock. I think I like this Finch the best.
I really like Morrison's concept. I just wonder if I'm going to have the money for all these Batman books later this year. I'm so used to just having one.
