Name: Evan Miles

Bio: I'm a writer. I'm working on everything from comics to short stories and full length screenplays. Movies are my love and I'll watch anything. You couldl call me a TV Junkie but I only watch what I like. Always hanging with my friends and out drinking/partying. Video games keep my anger down. I'm a pretty free spirt and fun-loving dude. Just living my life, ya know?

September 9, 2009 11:43 am Is he gonna fly? Why does he look like he just stepped out of the The Matrix? I dunno about that. But at least it's some kinda suit.
August 31, 2009 10:31 am As long as Disney doesn't try to mess with the comics or the movie, I don't really see a problem. Although, I do hate everything Disney that isn't Pixar, so I'm always thinking the worst in my mind. It is a big shock though.
August 20, 2009 1:41 pm I'm totally down with this. The movie should be awesome. I hope they can snag a good director.
August 20, 2009 1:39 pm I meant Frank Darabont not Frank Marshall. My bad. LOL
August 16, 2009 12:34 pm If AMC can pull it off as an HBO-like show, then I'm all for it. We zombie lovers have so many movies, we've needed a great zombie TV show for a very long time. Come on Frank Marshall, you have a good track record in my book, don't let me down.
August 16, 2009 12:30 pm How could this not have been POTW?! Easily the best contained Spider-Man story I've read in a long while. It feel like a big budgeted superhero action film. Everything is damn near perfect. I loved (and laughed during) the Storm/Spidey scenes. Classic. Excellent villain. Even though I was spoiled about the ending, I didn't know the context around it. It was still quite stunning and I might have said a small "oh sugar!".
August 16, 2009 12:26 pm It was a hard choice between this, Adventure Comics (so happy Superboy is back) & Deadpool (one of the funniest issues of comic I've read in a while). But I had to go with the sci-fi horror summer blockbuster. This book is just nutz, gory & awesome. I can't get enough of it. I usually hate the big "summer events" but this one of the best I've read in a while.
August 16, 2009 12:23 pm Haven't wrote a review for it yet but this ended up as my POTW. The artwork is so amazing. I know the story is a bit lacking but the action scenes in this are just stunning. I would love to see JH Williams III take on a book that needs some serious help. SUPERMAN! It would be a different take but I think with the right writer, might get some of that dirt off the book.
August 13, 2009 5:57 pm I know it's said but the only reason I got this one was for (variant?) cover with Fresh Ink's Blair Butler. She's give comic geeks a good name.
August 13, 2009 5:52 pm Now that's what I call an issue of a Deadpool comic. Hilarious all the way through. I miss the art & pencils of Paco Medina & Juan Vlasco. But this style goes with the exotic island/pirate feel.
