April 19, 2010 1:21 pm And now X-Force has that Secret Avengers like teaser with only Wolverine revealed.  I think.  That one did happen, right?
April 15, 2010 12:20 am I thought Flash: Rebirth was terrible so that almost caused me to pass this up, but Flash is a character I really want to read so I gave it a shot anyway and loved it too.  Hard to believe the same guy who wrote Rebirth also wrote this; this was leaps and bounds better in my humble opinion.  I'll be sticking around for sure.
April 14, 2010 4:28 pm I don't know if you mean nobody here guessed Nova, but the Comics Should Be Good blog nailed all of these characters from the teasers.  I like the line up and am curious to see who the unseen 3 members are.  I'll definitely be giving the series a go.
March 17, 2010 7:56 pm I liked this issue a lot.  I was just so excited to see Tony be given the suitcase and kept turning the page dying to see the panels of him opening it up and using the collapsible armor so it was a huge disappointment to all of a sudden see him appear all armored up already.  Would have loved the moment of him getting into the armor after months of Stark Disassembled.  Besides that this was a lot of fun.
December 9, 2009 8:39 pm This was fantastic.  The first issue gave me an Ennis vibe for sure, especially with Dillon's art, which hurt it in my opinion, but this issue totally separated me from that thought.  Definitely feel like this is going to be something special.
December 3, 2009 8:01 pm I had no idea what this was when it came out so I'm very much appreciative of iFanboy for bringing this book somewhat into the spotlight.  It wasn't until issue 5 or 6 that I really knew what the deal with this book was so, unfortunately, I haven't been on board which means I'm trade waiting (hopefully there will be one) and I can't wait to give it a read; it really sounds fantastic.  Glad to see it get POW anyway; I haven't read it but I gotta figure it's better than Cabal or Dark Avengers Annual.  Both fine books (I liked the DA book much more than Cabal though) but neither were spectacular.  I've still got a few books to go so no idea what I would have gone with.
November 24, 2009 10:51 am Damn!  I didn't know there wasn't gonna be another Nova HC, that news totally ruined my hour.  I was really looking forward to another hardcover collection.  I didn't think I had any kind of OCD but thinking of having trades mixed with that HC makes me shudder.

I don't know, for me this was one of the worst comics I've read in the last few months.  I started reading comics in 2004 and picked up Flash 212 with the Mirror Master story and LOVED it.  I was really looking forward to Rebirth doing for the Flash what it's done for the Green Lantern series but this is totally letting me down and making me think twice about picking up any new ongoing.

I haven't read any Flash prior to 212 so maybe I'm missing something here and that's swaying my opinion of this, but that shouldn't be my problem; it wasn't with Green Lantern: Rebirth.  The whole speed force stuff just seems so convoluted that I more or less just skim through when they're trying to explain it all.  And I honestly don't get the point of the murder, why is that necessary at all?  I groaned when that page with "I killed your mother" showed up especially after seeing his other "evil" acts like pushing a kid down the stairs.  I mean, seriously?  I don't know, I'd bow out now but I might as well just read the one remaining issue.  Hopefully there's something I can find to like.

August 13, 2009 3:25 am Yeah, I completely agree with this as POW.  I think I just have Fables left to read but I don't see that topping this.  Blackest Night got a pretty big "meh" from me this week.  This was the first issue of Green Lantern Corps. I've bought and was pretty underwhelmed and Blackest Night proper just seemed like a solid chapter in a larger story, nothing amazing, but nothing bad by any means.  I was really impressed by this book though, especially since I've been completely underwhelmed by Reborn.  I had little expectations for this being great but it completely delivered from story to art.  Probably my favorite Epting art so far, especially that Avengers panel.  Way to go Marvels Project, way to go.
June 25, 2009 8:38 pm Great post.  The first things I thought about when I clicked on the link were the shoes and the Bob action figure so it was great scrolling through the post and seeing them in there.  I was turning 7 when Batman came out and my uncle bought me the Bob action figure and I had the Joker shoes.  The anticipation for this and No Holds Barred was unbearable for 7 year old me.
