I think we are off to a great start. Geoff Johns can be hit or miss with me but I…

September 3, 2011 10:05 am I agree. I barely noticed that Moon Knight was in the panel because I was so drawn in by the rest of the panel.
September 3, 2011 9:56 am I think this may be the best week yet. Everyone of these is outstanding. Rocket Racoon is probably the favorite but that is definitely by a narrow margin.
August 31, 2011 10:00 am I am very excited but a little discouraged about having to wait until 1pm CST to get JLA. I wish there was a way to find out how many are buying digitally compared to standard format. From my perspective that would be a fascinating stat. Aside from the quality of many of the books, isn't that really the big question with this? Isn't that the aspect that will or will not become the game changer for the industry?
August 29, 2011 4:00 pm Great article as always Jim. I appreciate the optimistic spin you are bringing to this. I can only speak to my own experience. I stopped reading comics monthly years ago because I just didn't want anymore paper in my house and I would only buy trades of the sure thing home runs that I like. With what DC is doing I am going to buy some issues and I am willing to try some new titles because I don't have to worry about filling up my house with issues that I don't like. I'm hoping it does well enough that the whole industry goes to day and date publishing. I really think it is the only option and I want to reward DC with my money for stepping up and being the first.
August 29, 2011 3:44 pm All I know is that DC is getting me back to monthlies with the digital day and date. I am curious to see how many people like me as well as new readers will hop on this. Regardless, I hope it has an overall positive effect.
August 29, 2011 11:27 am Another reason why I look forward to Friday. Love the Batgirl and Robin.
August 16, 2011 2:59 pm The thought that mullet Superman was necessary is kind of scary. Awesome job Jim.
July 8, 2011 3:59 pm @y2kkev    You took the words right out of my head.
June 1, 2011 4:38 pm That right there is messed up in splendidly fun way.
May 12, 2011 2:14 pm I really like this list. Dark Knight Returns is what got me really into Batman.  I agree Long Halloween would be a good addition but rather than the Morrison stuff, I would hand someone the No Man's Land trades and let them go from there.
