February 17, 2020 12:40 pm I was thinking the price might have been removed from the digital file to not conflict with the comixology price and they grabbed those files for the collection. I have no idea if this is true, just an idea that popped in my head.
February 9, 2020 5:17 pm I was shocked that you guys didn't talk about Skulldigger and Skeleton Boy from the world of Black Hammer! To be fair the first issue came out during the break, but the way you guys have been struggling to find books to talk about I think you might have overlooked it. It's basically The Punisher meets Batman & Robin and the art by Tonci Zonjic is deceptively simple and the coloring is very cool! I also think Josh would dig this book even though he resists The Black Hammer Universe.
June 24, 2019 1:23 am Don't worry, Old Guard will return now that Charlize is starring in the adaptation written by Greg Rucka himself!!! https://deadline.com/2019/02/charlize-theron-netflix-the-old-guard-movie-1202561033/
May 5, 2019 4:22 pm FYI or FWIW: I have been re-reading Grant Morrison's Batman Inc from the New 52 because I remember Talia being "Leviathan" and I'm trying to figure out what he established with Leviathan and where he left it. At one point the mayor holds a press conference and reads a letter from Leviathan saying they have hundreds of Leviathan agents in key positions in the city's infrastructure. I haven't finished yet, but I just wanted to chime in that the Bat-Family should be very aware of Leviathan even though Superman and Lois are just discovering them. Also, Damian was suspicious of Jason Todd being in league with his mother back then! Okay, now you know what I know... and knowing is half the battle!
March 10, 2019 3:43 pm Ken, New Teen Titans by Wolfman and Perez is a beloved run that started in 1980. Swamp Thing by Berni Wrightson is a beautiful thing to behold and everyone should read Alan Moore's run on Swampy! Enjoy!
November 18, 2018 3:04 pm I'm at the point where you guys talk about Tom King needing to flop on a project and was surprised you didn't mention Heroes In Crisis. Maybe Conor has scrubbed it from his brain.
June 6, 2017 1:02 pm I don't know where to go to rally the troops for this week's Patron Pick, but I saw that the final issue of Dark Knight Returns III: The Master Race ships on Wednesday! I think it would be interesting to hear their thoughts on this since they barely talked about the book. Who's with me?
