June 27, 2013 12:34 pm The Joshua Hale Fialkov story was great, had me laughing, but I felt the other 2 stories were pretty mediocre. Still, the Fialkov story was so good I give this book 3/5. I'll get the next issue, but for $3.99 it has to deliver a tiny bit more bang for its buck.
June 25, 2013 2:59 pm I thought this was still months away, what a pleasant surprise! I forgot to add this to my pull-set so I hope my shop has plenty to left.
June 25, 2013 2:57 pm Loved the first issue, got this on my pull-list. Funny and little bit sad that this has more pulls than the main Superman book. I kind of wish they'd just have done the Superman Unchained story on the main book instead of releasing a new title, it might have helped people get on board.
June 15, 2013 3:08 pm Probably the best issue in the series so far for me personally, one of the best anyway. It had it all working, Higgins brought enough humour to this one and Booth's art worked perfectly, his layouts were superb. Top stuff.
June 13, 2013 4:07 am Loved it, everything I wanted from the team. Snyder seems to grasp the character well. Total opposite to Bruce but Snyder can write both by the looks of it. Can't wait for the next issue. 5/5
June 10, 2013 2:53 pm Did I hear that Booth isn't going to be the artist for much longer? I thought he was ongoing but I thought I read somewhere he's leaving... Hope not, he's very suited for this book and is doing wonderful work.
June 10, 2013 2:46 pm I still haven't read the previous 2 issues but I keep picking this up. I need to resolve that...
June 10, 2013 2:43 pm Haters will be out in force for this but screw them, in Snyder we trust and Lee draws the best Superman ever in my opinion (say what you want about 'For Tomorrow''s story, but Superman has never looked better). I can't wait for this, finally a Superman book to get excited about since Morrison's Action run finished (and even that wasn't as great as expected).
May 28, 2013 3:44 pm I forget I own this. I barely knew what comics were when I got it, think as a Christmas gift.
May 26, 2013 1:38 pm I wasn't one of the people cursing Slott's name for killing Peter, but I wasn't a fan of the decision either. I trusted him though to make it work in the interests of crafting a good story. But so far, this book has been ok but not great for me. It just doesn't feel like its going anywhere, and I know that is such a generic comic-book-fan comment to say but I thought there'd be a bit more backlash from Ock finally vanquishing Peter's essence from his brain. I dunno, this just isn't that amazing that I can see myself continuing to plunk down $3.99 every week. Its on the edge for me, I might drop it soon if the budget tightens...
