March 10, 2010 1:15 pm @Bendrix So far, yes. But I have no doubt that they'll pull it through in the end.

If you guys have been following Bendis on Twitter, he said this issue was late because it's literally 42 pages of story with no back matter or ads so cover to cover comics and took longer for production. The next issue is apparently right behind this one. And really, who cares if it's late? It's some of the best comics out there.

@Cooper Go back and read the older trades. So far, this arc hasn't lived up to most of the rest of it for me, but pretty much all of it is just incredible.

March 1, 2010 9:08 pm @MikeandZod2 You should get into Buffy. It's crazy good.
February 24, 2010 1:23 pm I just realized I hadn't said it here. So congratulations! So exciting! =D
February 9, 2010 1:27 pm I actually didn't so much care for the art here. Some of it was really good, but some of it made me really not like it so much. I loved the story though. I thought it was crazy fun because it was basically two Time Pharaohs (who are the same person but different in age by 6,000 years) doing battle and using Marvel heroes and villains for Pokemon battles. Loved that. I don't mind. It's not the best of this series, but it's still fun.

I wasn't going to get this, but I clicked here to see the written by just in case. It's written by Geoff Johns. Crap. I'm buying.

@Ruo21 Yeah. The last arc had a lot of random stuff thrown into it. It was sloppy in art and story. Basically all you have to know going into this is that Xander and Dawn are making out, Riley was undercover with Twilight, and the Slayers and Willow all gave their magic to the Earth, which gave rise to those three weird lookin goddesses.

Oh, and Buffy can fly...

The past ten issues have been not so good. But there were twenty issues of awesome before that. The past couple issues were really badly paced and... self-indulgent,I guess.

That said, after the Twilight reveal, I'm down with continuing. It can't get any worse than the last arc.

@cutty I read the script but I think it's dead. He's slating several new projects, but nothing's getting announced until this ends.

I would also like to point out that Ex Machina #40 came out this week (or so) last year. So this series is definitely plagued with delays and thank god it's done so I can start giving trades of the completed thing to people.
