I’ll start by saying that this has got to be McKeevers’ best issue of Teen Titans.  Of course I also…

February 26, 2010 1:04 am I've done OK with my Absolutes.  I read New Frontier (the Absolute was the first time I read it in any format), Kingdom Come, Sandman 1 & 2 and have Sandman 3 & 4, Death, Crisis, Ronin and Dark Knight waiting for me.  Looking forward to All Star SUperman, which I should read pretty quickly since I haven't read the story before.  On the Marvel side I read the Alias Omnibus and still have to read The New X-Men Omnibus.  I usually like to start reading these huge tomes when I know I can devote enough time to read them straight through without getting too behind on weekly issues and other things in life.  And my Strangers in Paradise Omnibus came in today, I'm going to need to clear my calander for the next month!
November 7, 2008 6:36 pm Well, if I didn't already love Sonia enough because of her articles and accent, that Black Queen costume puts it over the top!
September 6, 2008 6:44 pm I love Preacher, but haven't read it since it was coming out in issues (which I no longer have).  I have been itching to re-read it the past couple years, but have been holding out on buying the trades in hopes that there will be given the Absolute treatment.  Does anyone know if that's gonna happen?  Any rumors out there?  Thanks.

Anyone else notice that the cover and description of this issue deal with a new villian, Anansi, yet, its mostly the conclusion of the Amazon battle and getting RT a new body?  Only the last few pages served as a prelude to Anansi.  Makes me think they put next month's cover on a month too early!

June 29, 2008 9:12 pm Wow, I thought this was a great issue, just one great big ass-kicking fight.  Nothing wrong with that.  And the art was fantastic.  I feel that this has to be one of the better books out there  that doesn't get much attention.  It has been going strong for over 2 years and I keep waiting for it to run out of steam but, for me anyways, it has been very consistant all the way through.  Am I alone in this opinion?
June 19, 2008 11:08 pm An average story, which tends to be par for the couse on this title now unfortunately.  a couple quick questions that maybe someone could help me with.  Did we ever see Firstorm actually join the team or did he just start showing up?  Am I forgetting something?  Must have been in the same issue that Geo-Force left the team.  Oh, wait, was he ever really on the team?  And is Zatanna on the team now too?  She's featured on the Roll Call but I don't remember her joining either.  And didn't Hal leave the team and ask John Stewart to take his place.  And does the Justice League really have by-laws as Black Canary used to kick out Vixen?  Seems odd that they would sit around creating them.  You'd think they had better things to do.  And speaking of Vixen, based on page 9 she's been hanging around Power Girl and stealing some her "special powers".  She's almost ready to show up in an issue of The Titans.

The art is so distracting it takes away from what could be a good book.  I feel like I'm reading a 90's Image book with all of the cheesecake poses that dominate the pages.

I am a big Winnick fan (yes, there are some of us out there WadeWislon.)  His Green Arrow and GA/Black Canary are excellent, as is Trials of Shazam.  Not to mention, Outsiders, Batman and Exiles, all great runs.  I'm not sure why he gets so much grief.  So I 'll give it a chance and keep reading and hope that they fix-up the artwork issues.

April 26, 2008 4:43 pm I was a fan of Meltzer's run and McDuffie has been hit-or-miss with me.  This has been my favorite issue of his so far.  I definately agree with how nice it is to have a good Flash story again, but I wonder, given everything Wally brought up in this issue, how he's going to justify joining The Titans too.  Maybe he ends up with some extra free time because the kids are going away!  we can only hope!
