May 6, 2013 5:19 pm How can the epilogue of First Lantern come out this week in GL Corps #20 before the actual finale of Green Lantern #20?

The Event Perfected: How AGE OF ULTRON Should Take Over the World
April 22, 2013 6:36 pm Unfortunately, the first 5 issues were so boring and padded out that I felt it was a waste anyway.
Could have easily been condensed into 2 or 3 and would've flowed better. The benefit of a weekly shipping schedule I guess is that the disappointment doesn't have as long to fester.

Allergic to Fun: Comics’ War on Children
March 18, 2013 1:33 pm Fact: I don't like USM.
Fact: my little cousins love it. Wake up and watch it religiously, reruns or not.
Fact: They love to tell me all about it and how they 'play' it at recess with their friends. I'm just happy they fight over who gets to be Iron Fist. Iron Fist is the shit.

The Best of the Week in Panels – 02.13.2013
February 15, 2013 7:35 pm I ended up not buying Uncanny X-Men solely because Bachalo's art ruins everything for me. The man can draw a mean Sentinel, but the second he gets around to anything resembling a human, I get pulled right out of the story and spend all my time disliking the art.
Shame.

CANCELPOCALYPSE! DC Axes The Savage Hawkman, Deathstroke, The Fury of Firestorm, Team 7, The Ravagers, & Sword of Sorcery! [UPDATE]
February 8, 2013 2:43 am I just don't understand all of the hate. I still have a large chunk of books in the DCU that I love every week. I like their methods here with the books. Cancel books that aren't performing, replace them with new ones. The ones that stick, stick. The ones that don't get cancelled in the next round and another crop of books has a shot to succeed. I'd rather they kill off the weak books instead of bloating up their line of series with stuff no one is buying/enjoying anyway.
That said, I am said I, Vampire is gone. I loved the crossovers with Justice League Dark.

State of the Ruinin’
December 17, 2012 6:56 pm Amen. Double and triple shipping is making me drop Marvel series due to the sheer financial pressure of it.

State of the Ruinin’
December 17, 2012 6:54 pm Marvel decided not go beyond double shipping and just release as often as possible. Three All New X-Men in 4 weeks? 4 Iron Mans in 5 weeks? A week ago Cable and the XForce and Avengers Arena and Thunderbolts debuted, and now issue 2 for all of them are hitting this week.
This week alone is giving us new issues on practically every single Marvel NOW book besides Uncanny Avengers. If they want me to try new books, they need to give me a chance to afford it. Say what you will about the New 52, but they release one issue a month for each, which makes it infinitely more practical to dabble in many more series.

The Most Wonderful Time?
December 7, 2012 1:05 pm Anyone who would refer to the Calvin and Hobbes collection as a dust collector or dismisses it as a mere collection of an 80s funny strip instantly loses my attention.
Plus the whole article had a vague sense of entitlement. If this is such an ongoing problem, make a physical list and hand it to the relatives - chances are those people aren't exactly browsing your Amazon wishlists to begin with.

November 19, 2012 1:52 pm They have seriously got to get their act together and either rerelease Lucifer in trades or create some Absolute editions for it!
