Name: Frank Kim

Bio: Grew up reading Chris Claremont's Uncanny X-Men (when Wolverine was still a badass with a sense of honor) and the Wolfman/Perez The New Teen Titans.  Lost track of comics after Crisis on Infinite Earths and during the 90's in particular, but picked it up again after The Dark Knight Returns and Strikes Again.  If you don't think the Spider-Man movies are works of genius, you've lost all credibility with me.

Sweet Spidey head tattoo Carlie had on her hip, kinky. Why is Wolverine there? What’s he gonna stab some of…

Again, Wolverine making light of stabbing, guess this must be just Aaron’s version of him. Would’ve liked more if there…

Thought the art was a little less stylistic and a bit more conventional in this one…maybe McCarthy’s been reading this…

August 5, 2013 4:27 pm Started out petty good, but then turned into ridiculousness, almost hokey by the end. Jackman is a good Wolverine, the best we're gonna get for the part I think; but I think he still doesn't quite get Wolvie as a character. Logan is an honorable man who is battle-tested. Too much did it seem Jackman was playing him out as someone who was clueless in regard to honor and what that means to a soldier. Another Hollywood disappointment of a masterpiece level comic book in Claremont & Miller's work, would place this installment on the same level of an Amazing Spider-Man, Man of Steel, or Iron Man 3 as a flop of recent comic book movies from a hardcore comic book fanboy. The actor for Yukio turned in the best performance in this in my opinion, and they did a horrible job in who they chose for the role of Viper in this. The whole character was senseless and retarded in this, and not loyal to the comic book's Viper in Wolverine lore. The end doesn't make sense in why Yashida would turn so dishonorable in trying to steal Logan's life-force or healing factor, and the concept for the Silver Samurai was all Hollywood and none comic book unfortunately. He's Mariko's brother in the comic book, far from that in this. Speaking of which, they got Mariko right in this at least.
July 29, 2012 4:14 am I recall in the opening credits of the Watchmen movie, Comedian was at the scene of Kennedy's assassination, and seemed to be the shooter on top of that, did they forget about that? That really turns me off if they ignored that part of the movie in this story.
July 26, 2012 1:46 am Why they gotta portray Wolvie as deceiving, mistrustful, and disloyal like that, trying to ruin the character for me or something. Know Wolvie as an honorable character, not like this.
December 17, 2011 9:25 pm Have a problem still with Hal accepting a ring from Sinestro, he was booted from the Corp by the Guadians unjustifiably, but this series started out as if Hal was lost without the ring, and now he'll go so low as to accept a ring from his arch-nemesis, like he's a ring-junkie or something. Woulda been more interesting to me if Hal showed that he never really needed that ring.
September 15, 2011 2:42 am Thor is the god of thunder, why would he say he's just a man? Lame.
September 9, 2011 9:06 pm Love me some Skottie Young art, good stuff there. The concept of Spider Island interests me, just not sure where it's going.
September 9, 2011 8:22 pm I think this ruins the legacy left by the Killing Joke, kinda prefer Babs as The Oracle I guess, didn't really feel like a triumphant return from paralysis, skipping over that part is like dismissing what happened in the past to me.
September 6, 2011 9:21 pm Stoked to Travel in this.
September 3, 2011 10:43 am Wonder why Wolvie took so long to heal, would've liked to have seen him recover a bit quicker there. Loved the way Remender has Archangel handling his new status, almost like a magnanimous tyrant.
September 2, 2011 1:16 pm Fraction insists on Thor using the word 'hel' like it's used by regular people, it's almost laughable. Did he do any research on how Asgardians speak, or is this his egoist version of it?
