Name: Francisco Rosa

Bio: Been reading comics 30+ years.  Living in Montreal Quebec, I've been exposed to both North American comics and it's French equivalent (from QC, France & Belgium), so I like to think I'm fairly diverse in my tastes toward the artform.I dabbled in comics writing, art and publishing during the 1990s with my Scarlet Rose Productions company but discovered after 5 years that I was much better in the wine trade.  So I now spend most of my time tasting, reviewing and selling Bacchus' favorite drink.I also served 3 years as a Judge and advisor for the Joe Shuster Awards, the Canadian comics awards which brings the work of canuck creators to public attention.

July 16, 2012 2:10 pm Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Take your time.
July 15, 2012 12:35 am Depending who's the artist is, this could end up being a real nice hardcover. Yeah, I wait for the trade on most minis and give my monthly dollars to the series that want to stick around a while.
July 15, 2012 12:26 am Most of these I'm curious enough to try out the first issue. The one that I'm not sure about wanting to try is the Matt fraction one. Since the FEAR ITSELF fiasco, I've dropped all of this writer's books.
July 5, 2012 12:41 pm With Tony Daniel off the book and Layman on, I'll now pick up the book. Hopefully Bat editorial will continue to be as new writer friendly, unlike the Superman office which keeps using old (and bad) 90s Marvel writers.
July 3, 2012 2:09 pm The price of the books will a deciding factor. I've dropped all $3.99 (that were 22 pages of story or less no matter the publisher) titles at the beginning of the year. So if Marvel releases them at $2.99, I'll give em a shoot. Otherwise, bye-bye Marvel.
June 30, 2012 9:49 am I would have done the same thing.
May 23, 2012 3:17 pm Well, Frank Miller should be plenty pissed about that. Here and Weller apparently didn't get along during the filming of Robocop 2. But then, Miller's opinion on anything hasn't really mattered in quite a while.
