Art was pretty good, story was hilariously bad and over the top. A disaster, really.

Solid book that’s been sitting on the shelf for awhile. Nice, self-contained story set in the early-mid 60’s, concerning a…

January 31, 2013 4:11 pm Yup, looks like it is displaying correctly now.
January 31, 2013 1:19 pm 0.0%. Zero Point Zero. The old Z-O-Z. Not a crowd favorite. I like the Punisher and Rucka and I have never picked this up, although I much prefer the Punisher out of the superhero realm.
January 25, 2013 11:55 am I don't read Marvel hero books, so this ain't for me. But good luck in the new job, Ron, will miss your writing and podcasting here. Lighten up people - dude's not dead, he just got a new job!
January 23, 2013 9:18 am Congrats to Ron! Sounds like a great opportunity. Will miss him around here.
January 12, 2013 12:13 pm Swamp Thing really lost steam after the first arc, IMO, and I dropped it during Rotworld because of the glacial pace. Looking to get back on with a new team.
January 10, 2013 4:37 pm I think Wood's sensibilities might do a lot for Star Wars. Much better fit than his work on Conan, which have not been true to the character, at all. Just wait until Han Solo drops everything for some nasty goth chick.
January 7, 2013 10:57 am The only thing more boring than most of the new 52 these days is Marvel Now!, a double-shipping, $3.99 priced exercise in blatant market manipulation. The fact that Marvel has switched to the very worst quality paper they can find has made their titles unreadable to me in monthlies. I guess I'll see what all the hype is about in 6 months or so. DC has a few books worth reading: Bats, WW, Dial H, Earth 2, World's Finest., Batman Beyond, Batman, Inc.
December 27, 2012 7:24 pm Agreed, Valiant is knocking it out of the park. Very disappointed they did not get a mention here.
December 27, 2012 7:21 pm Did Rachel Rising start in 2012? I think it started in 2011, thus its non-inclusion. I don't read Marvel floppies anymore due to their terrible paper quality (the worst in the industry, worse than DC's, which is saying something), but was glad to see that John Carter made it - just a great mini.
