October 21, 2011 12:57 am Part of the problem I suspect is that this series is drawing more heavily on the original books upon which The Six Million Dollar Man TV show was based. Lee Majors (and network censorship) portrayed Austin as a much more genial character than he is written in the novels.
September 28, 2011 8:53 pm This one is kind of a miss for me. I liked the story more or less, though Spider-man's paranoia about Victoria Hand has long since past being amusing and has become annoying, but the art was (and I'm sorry to have to say this) just plain bad. I often had a hard time telling what was going on.
September 17, 2011 11:03 pm Since the issue with Damian has been argued over, let me add that I wasn't impressed with the villain of the piece. Seriously, if you don't want the hero awake for your deathtrap then just shoot them in the head. That piece of dialog annoyed me quite a bit.
July 28, 2011 11:28 pm I wasn't impressed.  Between the stories incomprihensibility, Mina and Quartermain making decisions I'd have only expected from teen-agers in a really bad slasher film, and Moore's need to show us half the male cast's equipment I'm only giving this a 1 because there's nothing lower.
June 18, 2011 8:50 am A painfully average issue given a boost by it's clearing up some of the backstory (and advancing the storyline) of the Leprechaun Pirate-Ninjas.
June 12, 2011 5:14 pm This was fairly bad...pretty, but bad.
April 13, 2011 10:50 pm A hundred f#%king dollars!?  I remember it as a pretty good comic, but even if they'd actually finished it I still wouldn't pay that price.
February 10, 2011 9:31 am I picked this manga up because it's written by the author of the Haruhi Suzamiya light novels.  BIG mistake.

I can live with inscest storylines if they're well handled, this isn't.  I can handle a dull protagonist if the other characters are interesting, they aren't.

I can accept a first volume that doesn't explain anything that's going on if there's something entertaining happening, there isn't.

This manga is simply boring, the only thing it has going for it is that it was written by Nagaru Tanigawa, and at the end of the day a bad book written by a good author is still a bad book.  Avoid at all costs.

It's official, Doctor Dinosaur is the greatest new supervillian in years.

As much as I hate to admit it, Yu Gi Oh has always been a very guilty pleasure of mine, and probably the best thing one can say about ther Yu-Gi-Oh GX manga is that it's a completely different story, with slightly different characterizations, from the anime.

It's still ridiculous, but nowhere near as eye-rollingly idiotic as the anime quickly became.  At least, not yet....
