October 30, 2011 7:16 pm I don't believe it is intellectually solid ground for a critic to temper the point of their criticism based on the fact they might want a to interview Bendis or Kirkman at some point. Somewhat strange to read that as a consideration in the article. Harshness, or perceived harshness, is only a concern if one looks to reviews as a kind of "passive recommendation". A review which doesn't delve into the specifics of why a thing is good or bad, is just poor criticism. The harshness (or lack of, things are sometimes fluffed) is totally not a concern in a poorly articulated review. Naturally. Harsh or pointed criticism is a different issue than poor criticism.

October 30, 2011 4:31 pm Getting a little tired of these Kirkman episodes. It's just kinda dull. Promo a few books, pimp the TWD tv show, glib remark and the interviewer giggles for 20mins. Didn't watch pass the first 5 mins. 2 episodes of this? Ehhh.
