July 3, 2012 6:47 pm A Hickman Avengers title sounds fantastic, but gaining it at the cost of Bendis writing X-Men? Ugh. Hopefully this doesn't mean Kieron Gillen is off of Uncanny or that they're cancelling any of the X-Men titles that are actually good. Also, Marvel? If you cancel my beloved Journey Into Mystery as a part of this relaunch, I think I might have to quit you.
June 14, 2012 5:24 pm I had absolutely no interest in this series because Smallville was pretty terrible, but if Stephanie is in it, I have to get it.
June 2, 2012 5:47 am I was reading a grand total of two comic books when Batwoman was announced as being a lesbian, neither of which was a Bat title and I still heard about her constantly. So no, there wasn't a lack of announcement for her.
June 1, 2012 4:29 am I enjoyed the first issue of Earth 2 more than I've enjoyed the entire run of the DCnU Justice League. Definitely looking forward to what Robinson has planned for us. As for Alan Scott being gay, I was really hoping for a more prominent character, but it seems like Robinson chose to make him gay in a more organic manner than the initial news reports and Dan Didio made it seem. Props to him.
June 1, 2012 4:26 am Quicksilver is gay and a member of Alpha Flight now?
May 7, 2012 10:21 pm It does look better in the film itself, but it's still not great. Even Loki's slightly over-the-top costume translated better to the screen for me. I actually really loved the WWII costume and I wouldn't mind if they went back to it.
May 4, 2012 9:45 pm Go see this movie. Seriously, just go. You will not regret it. And stay all the way through the credits, there's a fun second bonus scene.
May 4, 2012 8:03 pm I knew it was the Helicarrier and my jaw still dropped and I got goosebumps. Amazing scene.
May 4, 2012 8:00 pm As much as I loved the various X-Men movies (minus Wolverine and The Last Stand), that was how you handle a massive superhero battle scene. It couldn't have flowed any better.
May 4, 2012 7:36 pm That scene got the biggest reaction of the entire movie in my theater. Laughing, clapping, some approving yells. I actually couldn't make out Hulk's line because of it all. Best scene in the movie for me.
