Oh man, "The Mist" was hilariously bad.  I didn't know Darabont directed that.  I was literally laughing through half the movie.  I hope that he doesn't treat The Walking Dead as he did King's novella.

The Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile were amazing films though.

August 11, 2009 2:57 am I'm wondering how this ties into the main storyline.
July 15, 2009 7:30 am Is everyone here in agreement that Scalped destroys everything else being published by Vertigo right now?
July 15, 2009 7:22 am The crossover gets hate because it killed momentum on the main book while progressing plotlines from the spin-off book.  Another reason is that it was boring in comparison with the high caliber storytelling going on previously.  The lame ass ending didn't help at all either.
July 15, 2009 7:16 am I think when it's all said and done, DMZ will stand with all the great books to come out of Vertigo.  At the least, it will be comparable in length, if not scope as well.
July 15, 2009 7:13 am I am so hyped for this.  Never read Preacher during its original run.  It started when I was in elementary school, so I missed the boat.  Months and months ago, I read the pdf of issue 1 that DC hosts on their website.  Blown away.  Like Sammy, the wait will bug me.
July 14, 2009 2:51 am I am so happy that abortion of a crossover is done too.  I want to see more about this baddie turning the collapsed Fabletown into his personal fortress.
July 8, 2009 7:17 am The book has been decent so far, but Gross' art has been really sloppy in my opinion.  Maybe that is how it always looks?  I read American Jesus (Mark Millar wrote it and Peter Gross was on art) and his pencils looked pretty good.  The coloring was really good as well.  Maybe Gross needs a good colorist to make his art shine?
July 8, 2009 7:14 am I'm pumped for this as well.  And MrGlass is right on - Lemire is a really cool guy.  I'm hyped about his upcoming Sweet Tooth series as well.
June 19, 2009 3:38 am This book was great.  It was nice to read a story this well done with the added bonus of no advertisements.
