April 14, 2010 7:46 pm When I got to the two page spread just before the end, my comment was exactly the same as the one Boston Brand made at the top of the next page. Damn, that as good.
December 28, 2009 5:58 pm I got a calendar featuring Golden age DC covers, published by Asgard Press. Each cover image sheet is perforated so they can be removed and framed, if desired. My favorite is from the 80 page Giant Superboy dated June 1968, because I remember buying that one!
September 20, 2009 9:40 pm I know I'm completely alone, but Deadpool was my POW. I laughted out loud TWICE.
September 20, 2009 9:39 pm I'm alone, this was my favorite book this week.

Some of War of Kings has gotten off track, but not this title. If the interaction between Groot and Max didn't make you laugh out loud, nothing will. I want Max's explanation of the tree guy's vocabulary to be TRUE.

February 12, 2009 6:55 am I read all my (non-comic) books on a device that can "show photographs, videos and, yes comic books", It's a Palm TX and I've been reading three to five books a week on it for three years.
October 8, 2008 7:17 am Combining the scientific accuracy of Armageddon with the originality of Police Academy IV, this sucks on so many levels, it hurts. Asteroids floating next door, cliched characters, and a guy falling from a cliff in near-zero-G (for God's sake, read your own title!). Even Inspector Gadget II was better than this.

Allred is a great artist, but not for Fables. The line are way too smooth. Fables is supposed to be grittier than this. A bit of let down, storywise, but that's to expected while Willingham sets up his next big story arc.

I'm with Conor. Of course, Krypto could kick Atlas' butt. Given that Superman and he are approx. the same power level, and the big S was just off his feed, Krypto would be able to put the hurt on Atlas just like a normal dog his size would to a normal guy. And notice that Krypto basically just put the normal doggie moves on him, just with uper strength.

A Krypto monthly, anyone? (Just kidding!)
