February 22, 2012 4:49 pm As a Green Lantern fan, I have tried getting into this book ... it's hard, though, because it just seems like action-for-the-sake-of-action; held together by a flimsy premise, composed just for the purpose of accomplishing a "wouldn't it be awesome to get all the different color lanterns working together for some reason? BUT ONLY THE SECOND IN COMMANDS!" working vehicle. Also ... Another problem I have with the books is the covers. The covers of EVERY issue (sans the 1st) show the New Guardians getting their asses kicked or just generally being tossed about. It just seems very silly to me. As does the whole concept of this series.
