November 18, 2013 8:23 pm I'm the guy who wrote in about Fantasy comics! What an odd surprise to hear my question mentioned again. Umbral sounds excellent, will definitely be checking that out. I've been meaning to get around to Johnston's Wasteland as well. Thanks for the heads up, Paul. --Bryan

October 8, 2013 12:46 pm Bryan from San Antonio here! I'm surprised I actually got about ten minutes of answer from you guys. I'm not surprised the answer is basically "nope!" Josh is right, the best part of Martin books is the non-magic bits. You were dead on with Northlanders, by pure coincidence I had read it very shortly after I had sent that email. Cerebus I have also read already. It took me three months. The Mind Game issues were the best. Bone! How could I have forgotten Bone. Yes, that one is quite epic. Probably the best of any epic comic book fantasy. Spera, I had seen in a comic book shop once and I was wondering if it was any good. Totally going for it. Hinterkind, sounds great, but yes, Paul, totally urban. I'll be checking it out.
April 29, 2010 8:14 pm Really? I thought this mini was utterly forgetable. Maybe I'm in the minority though.

April 21, 2010 12:22 pm My poor friend Ben has to watch the Star Wars prequels way more than he should have to. Kids love Jar Jar.
April 18, 2010 9:08 pm Young Avengers helped me get back into comics. When I found out Allen Heinberg didn't usually write comics, I was crushed. So, I think I am justified in saying: YYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSS!
April 5, 2010 11:33 am The fact that Josh Richardson doesn't have any links only leads to me believe he is an elaborate prank by Josh and Ron. Congrats new guys, except J.R. I've got my eyes on you...

Does no one remember Detective Fantome? The French detective/ghost who was part of the French Avengersish team from the Fantastic Four story where Thing left the country during Civil War? C'mon.

 But seriously, Reed Richards.
March 23, 2010 2:39 pm Man, I was hoping for a hero named Vectorman.
