May 13, 2013 6:16 pm When DC re-launched Legion with the New 52, I gave the books an honest shot (there were two books, right?). I loved LSH back in the 70s and part of the 80s. I even read most of the old 60s LSH stories, including the Jim Shooter classics. I was hoping the New 52 would be a great time to get back to the book. It wasn't. I knew most of the characters from back in the day, but the continuity baggage had my head spinning. It was as if the authors were saying "new readers, stay away". Disappointing.

February 21, 2013 9:45 am Finally got around to listening to this episode. Who was the creator bleeped out of the podcast? Was it "He Who Shall Not be Named" doing Garfield? Kind of a 'Field on 'Field?

February 13, 2013 10:31 am Same here. The story was compelling and suspenseful, but it didn't end with the "bang" that I expected. It looks like Snyder's setting up a longer term situation for Batman to deal with.

February 6, 2013 2:57 pm "Young Han Solo" = "Young Indiana Jones"? When are we going to get "Young Jack Ryan"? Kidding aside, I think the new Star Wars projects sound great. The Star Wars universe (expanded and, uh, "panded") is massive and there's so much more that can be done with it.

October 26, 2012 5:44 pm "Another villain to watch out for, a Kirby creation called Dough Boy." Hmm. Never heard of this one until now. A little research shows the character may have been part of Kirby's run on Cap in the mid 1970s. By the way, "Dough Boy" is no relation to me. :)
