February 8, 2013 1:50 pm LOVE that Wolverine and Hulk piece. Very Tartakovsky/Samuri Jack.
February 1, 2013 1:19 pm Awesome article. My love affair with comics started when I had the flu. I was real small and my dad set one of his many boxes by my bedside, and I got to tear into the McFarlane "Web of Spiderman" run, followed by some Miller "Wolverine". I couldn't have been older than 8, and I haven't stopped since. Except for the Clone Saga, because seriously.
January 24, 2013 2:06 pm Can anyone remind me what the deal was between Beast and The Blue Fairy? I don't remember that at all, and I don't want to dig through my boxes.
January 10, 2013 12:29 pm Haha, You're right on the Pizza Hut thing. I'd classify myself as a reasonable Star Wars fan at least, but I found myself a bit underwhelmed at this issue. That dogfight was a bit choppy, and I didn't like that Vader seemed to have "facial expressions". Overall though, it's still fun and a great concept.
January 10, 2013 12:21 pm Thanks to my disdain for Red She-Hulk, I didn't even know Machine Man was still around. Still, I'd buy a solo series.
January 10, 2013 12:19 pm Wow. Gold Star for a Digible Planets reference.

January 7, 2013 4:44 pm The best movie of 2012 was "Cabin in the Woods". So says Doom!
December 21, 2012 12:55 pm I find myself buying multiple versions of comics all the time. I own the single issue runs of books like "Y" and "Fables", and also the trade paperback versions. I can't bear the wait for the trades to be released to keep up, and when they DO get released, I get them so that I can a) easily re-read it when I want and b) lend it to people so they can experience the greatness. I'm pretty sure the reason I DON'T own a tablet or anything is that I would feel compelled to buy all the digital versions.
