Name: Luis De Jesus

Bio: Been a fan since my dad started collecting in '92. He realized that all his image comics variant covers and copies of Death of Superman weren't gonna make him rich so he stopped. I got to read all his Green Lantern and whatever my parents could pick up for me at yard sales. I've been reading comics on and off since then. My favorite titles being Daredevil, Superboy, Teen Titans, Superman, and Avengers. I'm also an avid gamer my gamertag  on xbox live is: DevilishRagz88

April 4, 2013 2:05 pm Ah, totally missed it. My bad!
April 4, 2013 12:09 pm This is great, I've actually been reading about Cyborg a lot lately since I'm really jazzed about the Injustice game coming out. I'd like to add to the list of recommended reading the first issue of the 1982 Tales of the Teen Titans four issue mini series. I read it yesterday and really enjoyed how it explored Vic's angrier years before and after becoming Cyborg.
August 9, 2012 11:34 pm I know you're trying to sound like a beatnik, but i totally read this in Christopher Walken's voice in my head which made this post super enjoyable lol
February 27, 2012 2:19 pm I always keep it to four long-boxes, whenever I run out of space I give the stuff I'm not ever looking at again to kids in the neighborhood. They love it, and I'm happy about getting kids to read. They get single issues and my friends get trades, especially the really good stuff since I only tend to hang on to Hardcovers. I've recently taken to selling some of my older neglected hardcovers, variants and signed comics on ebay to make a little cash on the side and that's been working out really well. It's like I'm getting rid of starting a collecting obsession by giving it to others.
February 18, 2012 11:54 pm Ditto, that and the comixology sale for The Darkness made me start pulling this.
October 21, 2011 1:23 pm Josh you may remember me from the con, I actually spotted you by the escalator and shook your hand on Friday. Truth is i was scared to death to show up to con in my costume I was having second thoughts because of how tight it was but my girlfriend had pretty much convinced me to do it (her costume was pretty revealing too). I found it pretty funny though that at the convention people who recognized the characters we were dressed as were thrilled about our costumes everybody else was,... less than thrilled. I gotta say I appreciated the first cosplay article you wrote as well as this follow up because it's really easy to fall to this sorta' thing without strong support like this that I get from my friends and my girlfriend. Despite all the bullshit I gotta say I'm pretty happy with how comic con turned out and I had a great time. People who think like Mr. Burchette don't matter because I'm happy with my life, and I feel very accomplished and size has been absolutely irrelevant to all that. Sorry if I rambled a bit there.
October 13, 2011 12:20 pm Yeah the sword bugs me but not to a crazy extent. The armor bugs me more with all the pouches, straps and spikes and the mask with all the wing-dings it has. But I just kinda' accept it as part of the character now. Not that it's a good character, but I assume he's just there to serve his purpose leave at which point I can accept it. But that fight sequence between Shade and Deathstroke feels like Robinson and Hamner ran out of pages because Shade is/was written a bit too wise to be fooled by any simple robot.
October 12, 2011 9:05 pm I felt like Shade was duped a little too easily by Deathstroke that's the point at which I was really sucked out of it.
September 28, 2011 10:20 pm I gotta say I love this series but the photo covers have got to go. I never liked em' to begin with but it's worse because they've reused the same images over and over again when we're only at 9 issues.
September 24, 2011 3:26 am I think it may have been an editorial thing since Lex hardly if ever appeared at all in Superboy's book. Heck, barely any of the major super villains in the Superman books ever turned up 'cept for maybe parasite (not counting his appearances in the following volume of SB)
