I LOVED this issue! Better than the first two combined. The way Bendis is using Iron Man is brilliant –…

I was very pleasently surprised by this book. I wasn’t expecting a whole lot – I’m not a Manga fan…

January 11, 2013 9:21 pm That is what would happen to me if I was on TPIR.
July 19, 2012 2:16 pm The apparent overabundance of Wilfred costumes makes me happy. Nice photos - conveys the atmosphere of SDCC without the fanboy funk.
April 11, 2011 3:55 pm BQ: If a sitcom starring Charlie Sheene was the top-rated scripted show on TV. Oh wait...
March 31, 2011 4:18 pm I love the special features on these DVDs and this one looks loaded. Win.
March 18, 2011 4:10 pm I like it - looks better than the comic version it's based on.
March 18, 2011 9:36 am When you've got Gabe Hardman, Francesco Francavillia, Sara Pichelli, Phil Noto, Cliff Chiang, and Sean Phillips in a sketch-up and they don't have the pick of the litter, it's a good week (all killer pieces, by the way.) That Zombie Cobra Commander is just stunning, and made me chuckle. Again, great stuff this week.
March 15, 2011 10:02 pm I'm OK with this. The Affleck movie wasn't that bad - it's no Catwoman. I would like to see Colin Farrell back as Bullseye if they go that route.
March 15, 2011 11:17 am I'll take whatever I can get, but if pressed, more SiP, maybe only because Echo is still fresh and SiP has been off the radar for a bit.

But any Moore is just fine with me.
March 10, 2011 4:10 pm There's a great story arc - somewhere around 290s - 300 of the book in the 80s - that has the Red Skull, Sin (then Mother Superior) and Zemo kidnapping Cap, having him (and the Skull) age to real time, then battling it out. Has two great issues near the end with an origin of the Skull and a retelling of Bucky's death that are MUST READ. That Skull origin issue (298) stays with me to this day as just being very creepy. Written by JM DeMatteis when he was at his peak, this arc needs a collection, especially with Fear Itself coming and Sin's role as the new Red Skull. Classic comic booking.
