I want to love this book… And I get that feeling from a lot of fans. This should be DC’s…

Let me start off by saying that I am not a Judd Winick fan. I usually use his name as…

December 19, 2012 1:40 am I have come to cherish "lightsaber-less" SW books. And Fabri is one of my favorite SW artists of all time.
December 19, 2012 1:37 am First issue was much better than I imagined. I knew Walker was going to be good, but I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the story. Good idea to throw in the line about "the movie" to deflect a little of that criticism. If they leave this book alone- and Walker can keep up with the art- this could be something special when all is said and done!
December 1, 2012 1:09 am March is already out? Ryp does the art on this one... And the cover alludes to... the last two pages... This was a bit of a dissapointment for me. I loved the #0, when I thought I wouldn't. But #1 was a bit of a step back, and this issue was yet another step back. #3 is make or break...
August 16, 2012 3:48 am Art wasn't amazing... BUT I thought this story was awesome!! I found myself, at the end of the night, making this my POTW! Surprised me, too! I love the basic idea of the story...
August 16, 2012 3:43 am The best Superman title ... does not star Superman... Whodathunkit?? Can we get these guys to write Superman?? And get Asrar to draw it? Though, I guess, I really want them to stay here, too... Argh!! Send in the clones!!
August 16, 2012 3:40 am I find this scheduling odd. It's the flipside to a book that came out, what, six weeks ago?? Eight weeks?? I want to love this, because I love Simonson, but I am just not feeling his art here... Disappointing...
August 16, 2012 3:37 am This has been my surprise book out of the Nu52. I only got issue one because I am a pig and could not pass up Guillem March drawing Catwoman. But the story has been great; Winnick really kept it moving, tying up major plot threads within an issue, but giving us a good sub plot along the way. I am curious to see where this goes after Winnick leaves, but I am glad he was given this book for his run at least!
August 16, 2012 3:26 am Remender can write this book for the rest of time... He is a master of coming up with ways to make me feel like these characters and these stories MATTER in a universe where almost no single issue seems to do that. His character creations- Kid 'Poc, New Angel, AoA Nightcrawler- and his use of characters that no one else is touching lend a lot to this. I think Fantomex is actually dead (for longer than some other characters) and I think they could go and kill Kid 'Poc! Thank GOD that this run did not get all screwed up by an AvX crossover like his "Secret Avengers" did!!
August 16, 2012 3:22 am I am in the same position, but I did not have as strong reaction to this issue. It is still in the "buy" pile, but I continue to hem and haw about it. Same goes for 'The Flash"...
August 16, 2012 3:15 am It seems like this series is following a pretty even rotating pattern... Like it... Don't like it... Like it... I was disappointed in the last issue for a number of reasons, but I really liked this one. I think Kubert's art was better, I thought some of the points made were a little more poignant, the interaction with Erik and his actions was cool and his tension with Emma was really well done. And, I mean, come on: DRAGON! I guess I will hate #11 again, but #12 should be a favorite!! :D
