Name: Wil Carpenter

Bio: My name is Wil. I'm from jolly old England, where rain is the only comfort. Well, it's not really that comforting. It actually annoys me quite a bit. My local comic shop is LIMITED EDITION, which rocks and the guy who runs, Rich, it is a dude! I'm a big Batman fan, and I scare people with my obsessiveness over the topic (I know what happened when and how for almost everything Batman). None of my friends really like comics, which kinda sucks. If you want to grace me with your friendship or just a simple chatty exchange my e-mail is....(1 moment, I have to look....why do I have to look? It's the easiest e-mail to remember EVER) - wil@wilcarpenter.co.uk

February 15, 2012 10:01 am Comixology is trying to charge me $3.99 for this. Not cool. Hopefully they rectify it by the end of the day.
February 7, 2012 8:15 pm Phoned up my shop to make sure this was put by for me and they're missing a box...with this in it! Hopefully it arrives tomorrow morning or else I might cry.
January 16, 2012 4:58 pm I'm fairly certain this is a reprint. But I want it for Morrison and Gibson anyway.
January 16, 2012 2:00 pm Continued in Daredevil, out this week.
January 12, 2012 8:40 pm That last page of Scalped gave me chills. Such a perfect close to a perfect issue; the double-page spread was brilliant, too!
January 3, 2012 10:22 am Great set of picks. My top 20 would be: 20. Thor: The Mighty Avenger #8 19. Venom #5 18. Fantastic Four #587 17. Detective Comics #875 16. Scalped #54 15. Rockeeter Adventures #2 14. Hellboy: The Fury #3 13. DC Retroactive: Batman - The '90s #1 12. Jonah Hex #69 11. Reed Gunther #6 10. Batman Incorporated #6 9. Wonder Woman #1 8. Ultimate Comics Spider-Man #155 7. Daredevil #1 6. Scalped #50 5. Animal Man #1 4. Detective Comics #881 3. Fear Agent #32 2. Uncanny X-Force #18 1. Batman #1
January 2, 2012 2:21 pm Batman #1 - the perfect reintroduction to the world; everything about the book was awesome. That said, Detective Comics #881 is just as good, but the opposite - a perfect ending.
December 28, 2011 7:57 pm Woop! Day-and-date digital. I bought this while at work and it made me ignore no less than ten customers while I read it. Not great from a sales standpoint, but damn it was a good comic! Scott Snyder might be fighting off the scant few other contenders for my favourite writer of the moment.
December 26, 2011 2:19 pm I got: Petrograd, The Return of the Dapper Men, The Other Side (Aaron/Stewart), X-Men: First Class (the comic), 1001 Comics to Read Before You Die, Understanding Comics, The Batman Files, The Joker Visual Dictionary, Thor DVD And in general geekness: Doctor Who Series 6, Sons of Anarchy Season 3, Breaking Bad 1 & 2, Deathly Hallows Part 2, Doctor Who Monopoly. Plus, a bunch of Beatles stuff, some Star Wars/Music-related shirts and a coupla CDs.
December 21, 2011 5:42 pm I've seen it four times since it came out in the UK. One of my favourite movies this year; although, the three times in 2D were far superior to the one in 3D.
