Name: Wil Carpenter

Bio: My name is Wil. I'm from jolly old England, where rain is the only comfort. Well, it's not really that comforting. It actually annoys me quite a bit. My local comic shop is LIMITED EDITION, which rocks and the guy who runs, Rich, it is a dude! I'm a big Batman fan, and I scare people with my obsessiveness over the topic (I know what happened when and how for almost everything Batman). None of my friends really like comics, which kinda sucks. If you want to grace me with your friendship or just a simple chatty exchange my e-mail is....(1 moment, I have to look....why do I have to look? It's the easiest e-mail to remember EVER) - wil@wilcarpenter.co.uk

January 20, 2013 5:42 pm I finally managed to get one sent to me from Amazon's "Discount Warehouse" - apparently the back cover has a "medium crease" but at this point I don't even care - I've hunted and hunted since Boxing Day (and immediately pre-ordered Volume 2 to save this happening again).
August 22, 2012 11:24 am I've re-read the whole series a volume a day leading up to this. This morning I read the first four issues of "Trail's End." Just this moment I finished Issue 60. I felt very emotional at the end, lump in my throat and all. This truly was MY Preacher (replacing Preacher, itself, which had been my Preacher beforehand). A wonderful, wonderful end to a series that I absolutely adore.
August 21, 2012 12:12 am I have never simultaneously wanted to have a book so much and yet wanted it to never come. Unless there is somehow (doubtfully) some gargantuan misstep for the first time then this will be 60 perfect issues of a truly perfect series.
July 9, 2012 5:32 pm Got this last week - apparently it only came out digitally?
July 9, 2012 5:30 pm At last! I've been looking forward to this for months. Only a few days left to go!
June 13, 2012 10:41 am I just bought this on Comixology and it's missing the first and last pages of story. What the - ?!
May 8, 2012 9:36 am The Dolph-Punisher movie, while not a very good movie (comic book or otherwise), is still a lot of fun. Punisher: War Zone, though...
March 26, 2012 2:02 pm Is this coming out? It's not on Diamond's list for the week... and neither Forbidden Planet (UK) or my actual comic shop have it listed...
March 9, 2012 1:48 pm I was talking about this on Wednesday in my shop! In the latest issue of Ultimate Comics Spider-Man, someone asked about Peter Parker being resurrected on the letters page. The response was a "not gonna happen" but then they said "have you seen our Spider-Men teaser?"
February 27, 2012 2:02 pm Scalped is, consistently, the best book I read and to know it'll be gone soon makes me sad. That said, the ending will surely be perfect, and I cannot wait to read this issue (even though it's the beginning of the end).
