December 4, 2013 12:43 am Easy fix for those that download the podcast on the iPhone podcast app. Just hit the "Add Old Episodes" button and scroll to the bottom. Hit that missing ep, hit the add button, and viola! All set and ready to download ;)
September 25, 2013 12:53 pm I like Comic Book Resources.
September 13, 2013 12:24 pm @spaceghost15: I completely agree. I'm a huge Spidey-Fan and as much trepidation as I felt anticipating the Superior Era of Spider-Man, I've been enjoying every issue. I still can't wait for Peter's inevitable return, but I'm having a ton of fun reading Otto-Man's adventures in the webs while it lasts. Side Note: Does anyone else want to read a Wraith solo book co-starring Carlie Cooper? I don't know how much it would sell, but "DAMN GIRL!" (as Paul would say) I personally would read the heck out of that.
September 3, 2013 1:07 pm "We'll always have Paris" Many thanks to all involved for making iFanboy.com THE place to go for GREAT comics discussion. The best part of iFanboy has always been the excellent podcasts (Esp. POTW), so I'm very glad to see that will be continuing. As someone who has virtually no friends that share my obsession with comics and the various media in which comic book characters appear in, iFanboy has always filled the void that I always felt when I got excited about a storyline, or creator, or series, or character that I was reading about, but didn't have anyone to talk about it with. Many thanks to Josh, Conor, Paul, and Ron along with all the other contributors and commentors on the iFanboy site for making this one of my absolute MUST stops online every day. As much as I will miss the daily content, I take solace in knowing that we will still be able to comment in the posts for the podcast, and hope that the rest of the iFanbase will continue to discuss the weekly books there, whether the boys discuss them on the show or not. "Do not go gentle into that good night, Old age should burn and rave at close of day; Rage, rage against the dying of the light. Though wise men at their end know dark is right, Because their words had forked no lightning they Do not go gentle into that good night."
August 29, 2013 5:06 pm I saw that Dex-Starr was coming back. I don't think I can resist the urge to pick this up! May have to pick-up Soule's other issues of this. Maybe I will be reading a Lantern book afterall :)
August 29, 2013 4:45 pm Some of the issues are available digitally as well. For a couple bucks each, you can't really go wrong. Or there's also the "Showcase Presents" series. Volume 1 includes the first 16 issues of Justice League of America plus Brave and the Bold #28-30, and Mystery in Space #75. It's B&W newsprint, but you get a whole lot of story for little $$$. You may have to settle for a used copy, but it'll only cost you $10-$15.
August 29, 2013 12:57 pm A follow-up article mayhaps...
August 29, 2013 12:50 pm Superior Foes is the Mark Waid's Daredevil of 2013. Hope to add it to my top 5 in the future, but just couldn't with only 2 issues out. It's my Honorable Mention :)
August 29, 2013 12:36 pm My Top 5 (in ABC order): All-New X-Men Daredevil Saga Superior Spider-Man Thor: God of Thunder Honorable Mention: Superior Foes of Spider-Man- Too New to Include
August 7, 2013 1:17 pm Also, in regards to Green Arrow, I did give it a chance when Lemire/Sorrentino came aboard, but it just isn't what I want from a Green Arrow book. The Art is beautiful, the story is somewhat interesting, but...that's not Oliver Queen. Or at least the version of Ollie that I enjoy. I'll stick with re-readng my back issues from Kevin Smith, Brad Meltzer and Judd Winick... Maybe pick up some older issues I haven't gotten around to as well :)
