September 23, 2008 12:25 am I have totally hated this arc because James Robinson mixed up his Lois Lane and Mary Jane somewhere, but at least this first lackluster arc will be done. Maybe it'll rebound and he'll have some point for something...I sadly hold out hope because I hated the scatter brain first arc of MILLAR-F4 but now like it.

September 23, 2008 12:19 am I'm not really into Marvel and Quesada "90's-izing" there storylines lately, but people seem to be liking them for whatever god awful reason. I hope this ends with this 90's style reimagining getting gutted by the one and only bullseye...did marvel learn nothing from the lady doc ock?

September 19, 2008 2:30 pm I liked this episode and loved the look on Chloe and Oliver's face as Clark was dying. Although I knew he wasn't going to die, I was drawn in anyway. I also loved the final scene between Clark and Lois, they are perfect in those roles.

September 15, 2008 5:57 pm Nice post. I read amazing online because I recently dropped the book with the second issue of this latest 90's style storyline. I feel like if people would stop paying for crappy books then we'd have more say, but comics fans as a general rule will still buy a crappy book just to complain. Do what I do torrent baby, then you can read, complain and not give Quesada any money for the sub par quality of stories he's signing off on to make a quick buck. At least Spider-girl isn't that bad.

September 2, 2008 1:10 pm that's not a rumor, it's straight from JIM LEE's mouth. You only get to create your own DCU hero or villain. But I am looking forward to playing alongside Superman and Batman. I think they did it because it would get annoyning if you were in a world with a thousand Supermen or Batmen.

August 31, 2008 4:18 pm I feel ya WADE, but I'm not enjoying Robinson on this book at all. I think Johns on ACTION is exposing ROBINSON to me(like when I realized that TIM WAKEFIELD isn't a very good pitcher without his knuckle ball)...I hate his dialogue in the SUPERMAN world, it's odd and doesn't hold true to the characters for the most part. Maybe he should stick with the old JSA and Starman. More and more I'm thinking that once he gets his hands on OLLIE and HAL he's going to be exposed more, because JOHNS and WINNICK have developed those characters so well.

August 17, 2008 6:27 pm I totally agree, I've slowly stepping off the MARVEL train since the whole Civil War crap fest, but I still bought the stinky WWH, now I'm reading SI and asking myself why I'm still even bothering...I have figured out why I toture myself with bad stories...I keep hoping that I'll really like MARVEL again, and I want to feel happy when they finally fix that sinking ship of bad stories. So with SI coming down to a close, I'm getting the feeling I'm going to have to wait until the next event.

August 1, 2008 5:21 pm it's alright, feels like a strange place for what boils down to a elseworlds story...hopefully this storyline plays into a future storyline and isn't just a jerk fest...lol
