Name: Geoff Chapman

Bio: I'm Geoff. I live in San Francisco but am from Toronto. I've been reading comics since the late 80s (with a small break mid 90s). I love superheroes, but read all sorts of other stuff too. When I got into comics I was a full fledged Marvel Zombie, but now I read everything. The first book that grabbed me was Silver Surfer. I love the cosmic stuff, being an old school sci fi fanboy. So once I got back into comics in early 2000 I got really into Green Lantern, yes I admit it I still like Kyle, as Ion or the GL. These days I only collect trades, and I've been reading through a lot of old stuff. Its been pretty fun and I love what iFanboy brings to the forum :)

July 28, 2009 12:16 pm Sorry I didn't run into you at the con, (did see Conor, Josh and Gordon) sounds like you had am awesome time. And I totally agree wit. You on the Hollywood angle. The question though, is what do you think about the only vaguely borderline genre properties latching themselves onto the con world - Twilight, Ghost Whisperer, Big Bang Theory...

Alphabet Soup Nazi: Categorizing for a Better World

I organize my trades alphabetically by character on the shelf, and always keep all of a single character together despite the specific title. Within a character though I put everything in chronological order (by story not publish date). All book outside chronoly or elseworlds etc go at the beginning of that characters section. Event books stand alone. I can be pretty weird about it, but at least it works for me :)
