Name: Casey Thomasson

Bio: Warrior from the future sent back in time to teach the past how to be awesome. And also for comics.I lean toward the tights and fights genre, but if the story's not there then neither am I (I'm lookin' at you, Fear Itself...). That said, off-beat gems like Bone, Midnight Nation and Y: The Last Man have been known to keep my attention. Green Lantern, Silver Surfer, Young Justice and the Avengers made me love comics, but the loss of Slingers taught me the bitter lessons of fanboydom. Now I just love readin' 'em, commentin' on 'em and havin' a grand ol' time!

August 9, 2017 9:08 am I think it's been... boy, years since I've posted on ifanboy. But I cannot, I SHALL NOT, resist an opportunity to list things! 1. The Dark Knight 2. Batman: The Movie 3. The Lego Batman Movie (the most, and I mean this unironically, authentic and resonant character arc Bruce Wayne has ever had in a theatrical release) 4. Batman & Robin (a criminally underrated camp masterpiece) 5. Batman Begins 6. Batman Forever 7. Mask of the Phantasm 8. Batman '89 9. Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice 10. The Dark Knight Rises 11. Batman Returns Great show, guys! Every time you release one of these Brain Trust specials it makes me long for a weekly podcast where you three review animated features. Thanks!
May 23, 2016 9:40 am Thank you guys, for this doing this episode and for giving us this show every week. There has been a absolute flood of emotion and appreciation for Darwyn Cooke and his amazing contributions to the artform this past week, but I can't imagine a more honest and heartfelt tribute than this episode. Well done, and I'm so sorry for your loss.
September 3, 2013 9:50 pm I found your podcast and website while I was living in Japan in 2006, and listening to you guys talk comics and have fun with each other was a little piece of home in a place very far away from my friends and family. I can't tell you guys how much we all appreciate the level of content and discussion that iFanboy.com has cultivated. Thank you, and here's looking forward to another 400 podcasts!
August 30, 2013 8:59 pm No particular order, and bearing in mind that, like most folks, this list changes daily: Daredevil Thor: God of Thunder Wonder Woman Batman '66 Aaaaaaaaaand... Y'know what? I'm gonna go with Scarlet Spider.
August 29, 2013 10:44 pm Great review, Josh. You gotta go with your gut! I just love the idea that the reason that Earth 2 is a bit sunnier is that Batman and Superman had someone to play with as kids.

August 20, 2013 10:54 am I believe he's not working for Galactus anymore, mostly just surfing around and being philosophical, JUST THE WAY I WANT HIM!
August 20, 2013 10:52 am I think that it's just a matter of getting the RIGHT people for the book, not just popular people. It's the same problem that Man of Steel had; Dark Knight is popular, so let's get Nolan to produce and guide a movie just like that for Superman! I'll say it again: Get Jeff Parker on Superman, let him run, and you're in the pink.
August 20, 2013 10:49 am How about the team that gave us the Surfer's Infinity tie-in last week? That was pretty damn spectacular!
August 20, 2013 10:48 am I've dropped off of the others, but this book is a ton of fun. Last issue was fantastic, and I'm ready for more!
