There are so many interesting covers they could make. Scarlet Spider scaling the San Jacinto monument, crawling up a refinery stack, perched on the conning tower of the Battleship Texas.

December 13, 2011 12:32 pm I like Killing Joke because Moore really gets to the meat of the whole Batman/Joker struggle. Batman is Man's sense of Justice not quite taken to its logical extreme. The Joker is Man's sense of Tragedy or Irony (I am still wrestling with that question) taken to its logical extreme. They are not two sides of the same coin, but on the same monetary standard. I like V, but it is a lot like Nietsche: it really reasonates with young men between the ages of 14 and 20 with its Will to Power themes but once you delve into it there is nothing there. Both V and Norsefire are reprehensible and no one would want to live in the world either of them desires. I see a lot of hipster with those masks, smoking their Parliments, and complaining about their inability to get a job with their degree in Post Modern Literature. Occupy This and That has adopted it without knowing what it means so I do not take them seriously. I know Anonymous uses it as well, but they make so many hollow threats and grandstand to an absurd degree that I do not take them serious either. Maybe it is just my boredom with faux-rebellion and fake revolutionaries coming out. Wow that sounded kind of hipster...where did these skinny jeans and PBR come from? As you can tell I am straved for good conversation.

December 13, 2011 11:05 am No Killing Joke? What is this? For me Moore's Swamp Thing, From Hell, and The Killing Joke are tops. No one has yet to really plumb the depths of the insanity that is Gotham better than Moore. I like V, but it is horribly overrated in my opinion. Maybe it is because people read it and then put on a guy Fawkes mask and think it makes them edgy or cool. I guess what I am saying is that hipsters are annoying.

December 8, 2011 6:23 pm I started with all the Batbooks, All Lantern books, GA, Aquaman, Hawk & Dove, Swamp Thing, Animal Man, Catwoman, Storm Watch, Flash, Batgirl, Batwoman, Red Lanterns, and Demon Knights. I dropped Demon Knights because I felt the pacing was too slow and added Voodoo. Glad I did.

December 6, 2011 11:16 am Probably one of the best books in the new 52. I am just wondering if the entire corp will become more sentient now that we know it possible. If this book gets better maybe we will get a Sinestro Corp book.

October 24, 2011 4:22 pm Great game. People do not understand just how difficult it is. There is no simple dropping down on the bad guys and punching them to pieces. The game requires thought and planning because they can overwhelm you very fast especially if they have firearms. The Mr. Freeze battle has been my favorite so far.
